Day by Day

Day 1 - South to Edinburgh via Cairngorms National Park

The transfer south to Edinburgh takes around 3 hours. However, you will stop in Cairngorms National Park – the largest in the UK – to enjoy a hike. There are wonderful options, both low level in its ancient forests and glens, and high level to its soaring but accessible peaks.

Day 2 - Exploring Edinburgh

Spend today exploring the unique city of Edinburgh with an expert local guide who will take you on a walking tour to visit some of the famous historic attractions, including Edinburgh Castle. Wonder at the stories of the streets and discover the true character of the Old Town. Edinburgh is a labyrinth of cobbled alleyways contrasted with Georgian townhouses and more modern architecture and this tour will give you a real insight into the history and character of this amazing city.

Day 3 - Free time in Edinburgh

Today is a free day to explore the city on your own, perhaps enjoying the many fine museums or finding the perfect souvenir.

Day 4 - Travel to Glasgow & Depart

The transfer to Glasgow Airport takes around 1.5 hours. Depending on flight times, you may be able to enjoy some free time in Edinburgh before your transfer. Drop off at the airport and depart.
