Your local expert guide will meet you at your hotel this morning and you will spend the morning exploring the old centre of the unique city of Edinburgh. Walk the ancient cobbled streets and discover the unique buildings that house vibrant and ever-changing art collections. Your guide will share some of the best art gallery highlights and inspiring viewpoints as you explore the layers of the streets.

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel this morning and together you will head north over the bridge into the Kingdom of Fife to start your explorations. You can choose to start hiking right away, or your guide can take you to visit the charming village of Culross for an inspiring start to the day.
Step back in time in the cobbled streets of Culross, a once-bustling port, and see why this is a favourite filming spot of the popular Outlander Series. No matter where you choose to start today, your end destination is the seaside town of Leven. Enjoy a warm Scottish welcome and settle in to enjoy the coastal location.

Enjoy a full day taking in the sweeping coastal views along the path today. If the tides are in your favour you can challenge yourselves with the Elie Chainwalk before heading onwards. As you pass ruined towers and castles full of history, your guide will share some of the tales with you and make the landscape come alive as you move through it. Your destination today is Anstruther, home of award-winning Fish & Chips. Highly recommended, we think these always taste best eaten while sitting on the harbour wall!

There is also the option to take on a bigger day today, and push through all 16 miles to St Andrews. However we would highly recommend enjoying an easy day and finishing early to enjoy a visit to the lush tranquility of Cambo Gardens. Then join the distillery tour at Kingsbarns Distillery to discover some local whisky history and raise a celebratory glass to your adventures and inspirations. Your guide will then transfer you onwards to your luxurious and iconic hotel in St Andrews.

A short transfer this morning will take you back to Cambo Sands to complete the journey on foot to St Andrews. Admire the Rock and Spindle, a spectacular natural eroded volcanic plug, that is of similar formation to the rock that Edinburgh Castle is built on. The views from here are stunning so keep your eyes peeled for all of the local wildlife and you pass the lovingly maintained golf greens.
You could extend your hike onwards to Leuchars today, or take some time this afternoon to explore St Andrews or the local area with your guide.

You can choose to hike and follow the coastal path with your guide this morning. Or make the most of where you are and head to the unique V&A Dundee for some incredible design inspiration. Scotland’s first design museum showcases the very best of design from around the world, within the breath-taking surroundings of renowned architect Kengo Kuma’s first British building. Take a private tour of the highlights, both of the collection and the architecture, and take your time to marvel at the elegance and beauty on display.
Your guide will then take you back to Edinburgh, where they will leave you to continue your adventures.
