Day 1 - Tuesday 30th April - Welcome to the Highlands

Upon your arrival in Inverness, you’ll be greeted by your Guide, who will also be your driver for the week. From there, you’ll embark on a scenic journey to Torridon, a rugged and remote area renowned for its dramatic landscapes. As you settle into your accommodation, take some time to relax and prepare for the adventures that lie ahead.

Day 2 - Wednesday 1st May - Beinn Alligin

Today, you’ll tackle the majestic Beinn Alligin, a classic Torridon mountain offering exhilarating hiking opportunities. Your mountain leader will guide you through the challenging terrain as you ascend the peaks of Tom na Gruagaich and Sgurr Mhor, both Corbetts. Marvel at the sweeping vistas of Torridon’s wild and rugged beauty before descending back to your accommodation for a well-deserved rest.

Day 3 - Thursday 2nd May - Beinn Damh or Liathach

This morning you and your guide can choose from many great options, depending on weather and how you feel. Perhaps a hike up Beinn Damh, which dominates the south shore of the loch with an outstanding view north towards the Torridon giants of Beinn Alligin and Liathach. Or if you feel up to a challenge, you could take on an exhilarating day on Liathach, one of Scotland’s most iconic and challenging mountain ridges. With your Guides guidance, you’ll traverse the spine of this magnificent peak, ascending Munro summits such as Mullach an Rathain and Spidean a’ Choire Leith. Experience the thrill of scrambling over rocky terrain and enjoy unparalleled views of the Torridon landscape before returning to your hotel.

Day 4 - Friday 3rd May - Travel South to Glencoe

Bid farewell to Torridon as you and your guide journey to Glencoe, another epicenter of Scottish hillwalking and mountaineering. Arriving at Glencoe House, your luxurious accommodation for the next few days, take some time to settle in and unwind amidst the stunning Highland scenery.

Day 5 - Saturday 4th May - Buachaille Etive Mor

Today’s adventure takes you up the iconic Buachaille Etive Mor, a dominating presence in the Glencoe skyline. With your guide by your side, you’ll navigate the rugged trails and rocky slopes to reach the summit. Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and valleys before descending back to Glencoe House for a well-deserved evening of relaxation.

Day 6 - Sunday 5th May - The Lost Valley

Today offers a more relaxed adventure as you explore the Lost Valley, nestled in the heart of Glencoe’s rugged landscape. Accompanied by your guide, embark on a leisurely hike through this hidden gem, where lush greenery and cascading waterfalls await. Delve into the valley’s rich history and folklore as you make your way along the trail soaking in the serenity of this enchanting location. With its dramatic scenery and fascinating tales, the Lost Valley promises a more restful day.

Day 7 - Monday 6th May - Pap of Glencoe

Conclude your Highland adventure with a hike up the iconic Pap of Glencoe. With its distinctive pyramid-shaped peak, this Corbett offers a rewarding challenge with stunning views of Loch Leven and the surrounding mountains. After conquering the Pap, enjoy a well earned pint at the infamous climbers tavern reflecting on your week of adventure in the Highlands.

Day 8 - Tuesday 7th May - Depart

This morning, your guide will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the airport to make your onward connections. Waving farewell to the Scottish mountains for now but taking with you special memories and wonderful stories of your explorations.
