Day 1 - Saturday 5th July - Welcome to Scotland

On arrival at the airport you will be met by a private driver who will transfer you to your city centre hotel. Depending on your arrival time you can choose to relax at the hotel or head out to start exploring this unique city.

Day 2 - Sunday 6th July - Exploring Edinburgh

This morning immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. Your guide will leave you here so that you can spend as much time in the castle as you wish.

You then have a free afternoon to continue explorations at your own pace, or head back to your hotel to relax.  Your evening is free to attend a Sunday Mass service at one of Edinburgh’s Catholic Churches.

Your incredible rail journey will end today in Edinburgh.

Your main guide (who will also act as your driver), will meet you from the train and whisk you to the spectacular West Coast.  Enjoy the incredible scenery passing by as you leave the bustling city behind. You will have some time to explore some of the many walking trails in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park if you want to stretch your legs.  Your guide will be on hand to discuss options with you depending on how you are feeling and the weather conditions.

Arrive at your luxurious accommodation and get settled in.

Day 11 - Tuesday 15th July - A Day of Delights

Take to the water this morning as you glide along the mysterious waters of Loch Lomond, on a boat cruise.  Enjoy the relaxing sound of the water as you take in the incredible scenery that surrounds this place.  A truly peaceful experience.

You will have time to refresh and relax before indulging in a lavish afternoon tea with a glass of champagne.  Enjoy quality time together with a quintessentially British experience, indulging in an exquisite blend of traditional afternoon tea favourites and Scottish delicacies.  The perfect way to end your day!

Day 12 - Wednesday 16th July - A Delightful Pair - Whisky & Chocolate!

Delve deep into the process of whisky making today as you enjoy a tour of one of Scotland’s best Distilleries.  Still using time honed traditional methods, this Distillery prides itself on taking time to create a fine Whisky.  As you sip on a warming dram, enjoy a surprisingly delightful pairing with chocolates from the famous Highland Chocolatier.

Your afternoon is free to explore further with your guide or just rest and relax, enjoying the luxurious facilities of your hotel.

Day 13 - Thursday 17th July - Depart
