Embark on an enchanting ride through the lush landscapes of Killarney National Park. As you pedal through the oldest and most awe-inspiring national park in Ireland, every turn reveals a new facet of Killarney’s charm. Here, the paths weave through a realm where tranquility reigns supreme, and the natural world flourishes in its full glory. Cycle along routes that offer uninterrupted views of emerald forests, tranquil lakes, and the untamed wilderness that defines Ireland’s rugged beauty.

For this activity you will drive yourself to Killarney National Park and meet your local guide at a pre designated point where you will mount bikes and enjoy your half day cycling tour returning to your cars at the end. This activity is provided by a local company in Killarney.

Day 4 - Thursday 27th June - Sheepdog Demo and Chocolate Experience

Leaving Kerry, take the car ferry across the mouth of the river Shannon, watching out for playful marine life as you cross. The lesser-known Burren National Park and the jewel in the crown of West Ireland is our destination this afternoon. The otherworldly exposed limestone landscape contains a fascinating mix of wildflowers, wildlife, geology and ancient tombs. Meet a local farmer and enjoy a masterclass in sheep dog working with an exhilarating demonstration of his absolutely adorable and keenly intelligent dogs.
Before leaving, be sure to visit the local Chocolate Factory for a quick tour and hot chocolate experience.

For this activity, you will make your own way to the farm where you will be meet and greet the farmer, enjoy the sheepdog trail before leaving and making your way to a local chocolate factory for a pre booked hot chocolate experience.

Day 5 - Friday 28th June - Connemara National Park

Spend the day exploring Connemara national Park unguided.

We suggest a morning hike as you take the captivating 7km trail through Connemara National Park. Climb a narrow pathway to the top of Diamond Hill, Connemara’s most iconic hilltop. From the summit, enjoy stunning views from the mountains to the Atlantic. To one side, the silhouette of Connemara’s hills and mountains beckon, rugged and wild. On the other side, the sea glistens in the distance. Look just below, and you can make out the turrets and towers of Kylemore Abbey, a gothic-style manor set amongst the slopes.

Today is unguided

Day 6 - Saturday 29th June - The Aran Islands

Spend the day on the remote Aran Islands with a local guide Gabriel, a native goat farmer come tour guide who calls these islands home.
Catching your quick flights over to the island, you will be met at the hanger by gabriel before embarking on your tour of the island.
Visit to Dun Aonghasa an Iron Age Fort on the edge of a cliff offering a glimse into an ancient and mystical world & The Seven Churches, two historical sites of importance before stopping for lunch.
Visit to the seal colony before Gabriel takes you to his own goat farm for a cheese tasting and a demonstration of our cheese-making process. Have some fun interacting with the flock of goats before you pop over to visit to the eastern side of the island to St. Enda’s sunken church and the old Cromwellian Castle. Stop at the monument dedicated to local fishermen who lost their lives at sea before returning to harbour for your ferry to mainland with an extended Cliffs Tour where you sail under The Cliffs of Moher.

For the best of both worlds, we recommend flying to the islands ( flights not included) and taking the returning ferry to the mainland where you can enjoy an additional sail under the magnificent Cliffs of Moher.

A private transfer will take you to Connemara Airport for your flights before meeting you that evening in Galway Docks for a transfer back to your hotel.
