Blandine's Scottish Birthday Extravaganza!

Day 1 - Thursday 10^th July - Welcome to Scotland

On arrival at the airport you will be met by a private driver who will transfer you to Borthwick Castle. Venture out to a local pub for an evening meal before settling in and enjoying your first evening in this magical and historic castle.

Day 2 - Friday 11^th July - Welcoming Your Party Guests

Today, enjoy a free day. Your private guides will be on hand for hiking and local site seeing at your request. Perhaps take the opportunity to visit Rosslyn Chapel or head to the coast. Back at the Castle, prepare to welcome your birthday guests with a buffet meal in the great hall before retiring to the State Room for after dinner drinks.

Day 3 - Saturday 12^th July - Party Time!

The main event has arrived! It’s time to celebrate Blandine’s birthday.

After breakfast, the activities will begin with your very own private Highland Games in the castle grounds. You and your guests will compete in traditional games like tossing the caber, hurling the hammer and Scots stone putt. Try your hand at Scottish dancing, whisky tasting challenge and a bagpipe masterclass! Having worked up an appetite, enjoy a BBQ lunch and afternoon drinks.

This evening, sit down to a delicious celebratory meal in the Great Hall followed by an evening ceilidh, with your very own live musicians and lighting. Dance and celebrate into the wee hours with your guests!

Day 4 - Sunday 13^th July - Brunch & Activities

After a full day of celebrations and good cheer, start this morning slowly as you welcome your guests for a decadent brunch back in the Great Hall.

After brunch, enjoy a private falconry experience in the castle grounds. In the afternoon you and your guests can enjoy your pre-booked activities.

It’s time to bid farewell to your external guests and enjoy a quiet evening by the fire in the Castle.

Day 5 - Monday 14^th July - Small Group Activities

Today is your day to explore in smaller groups, you can choose visit the architecturally stunning city of Edinburgh with your guides. Head out and explore the winding alleys and cobblestone streets. Full of history, the capital is very accessible by foot. Wander up the Royal Mile, visiting St Giles’ Cathedral and Edinburgh Castle, which offers sweeping views over the city. Or stay closer to home with gentle walks and local history.

This evening, enjoy your final night in your Castle abode with your guests.

Day 6 - Tuesday 15^th July - Depart

A private transfer will collect you from your accommodation and take you to the airport to make your onward connections. Waving farewell to Scotland for now but taking with you special memories and wonderful stories of your birthday celebrations.
