The GPO The GPO Museum is an immersive, interactive, and engaging experience telling the story of the 1916 Easter Rising and Modern Irish History.
The Jeanie Johnston One million Irish people fled Ireland during the famine. 2,500 took a gruelling voyage on the Jeanie Johnston. Take a journey back in time, get an insight into life on board a Famine ship, and hear the stories of the people who made the arduous voyage.
Marsh’s Library Marsh’s Library is a beautifully preserved library of the early Enlightenment. It was built with money provided by Archbishop Narcissus Marsh, an academic and book lover with a strong belief in the public utility of education and learning.

This morning a private transfer will take you to the airport in time for your flight to Scotland, bidding farewell to Ireland and the memories you have made.

Together you will head straight out of the city towards Stirling Castle. This magnificent castle perched high overlooking the city is a symbol of immense national pride due to it’s significance throughout historic wars. Spend some time exploring the location and get a feel for its grandeur.
From here, continue on towards the shores of Loch Lomond and your accommodation on the waters edge. Spend time relaxing and enjoying the views across the loch and look ahead to your Scottish adventures.

Today, get out on the loch as a boat cruise allows you to explore on the water in luxury. Enjoy time taking in the stunning surroundings and learning about the many islands that litter the lochs landscape.
After this, head for a stunning local architectural masterpiece. Designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh, spend time exploring this unique building and find out about the family that called this location home. Be sure to head up to the roof top terrace to take in amazing views out to the Firth of Clyde towards Arran.

Today, you depart the shores of Loch Lomond as your guide takes you east to St Andrews. Here, you will get the chance to visit the Old Course Pro-Shop at St Andrews before Bob plays a round at the stunning Kingsbarns course, accompanied by a caddie to help guide him around the course.
While Bob hits the links, Debbie, accompanied by your guide will spend some time exploring this beautiful location. Known for the golf course, it is also well renowned for it’s revered University, which played host to the start of Prince William and Princess Kate’s love story. Enjoy wandering the streets and the views from the coastline out to the North Sea.
Continue on for Edinburgh and your city centre accommodation. Your guide will drop you here, before bidding their farewells as they depart, leaving you free to explore at your own pace or simply relax at your accommodation.

This morning, meet an expert local guide in the foyer of the hotel and head out to explore the lesser known areas of Edinburgh in a Mini Cooper. Today it’s time to explore the Scottish borders, and some of the best Northumberland has to offer. You will meet your day guides in the foyer of your hotel before embarking on your day of adventure. The main stop on today’s list is Alnwick Castle, which has played host to a number of movies, such as Harry Potter and Robin Hood: prince of Thieves.
From here, you will work your way back up along the coast, visiting Bamburgh, Berwick upon Tweed, before landing back into Scotland to explore some of the historic border. Your guides will then take you back to your hotel for some much needed rest after a full day of exploration.

After an early breakfast, a private transfer will take you to St Pancras station where you will catch a train to Canterbury. Your guide for the day will meet you at Canterbury West station and take you on a historical walking tour of this beautiful city, including entry into the stunning Canterbury Cathedral.
Strolling through Canterbury is like stepping back in time, with its cobblestone streets, charming medieval buildings, and cozy cafes. The highlight of any visit is the magnificent Canterbury Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site that dominates the skyline. As you wander through its stunning gothic architecture, you can’t help but feel a sense of awe and history.
You’ll end your time in Canterbury with a private punting tour on the River Stour, the best way to view the city.
You and your guide will then travel to Dover to view the iconic White Cliffs and visit the breathtaking Dover Castle. Explore its rich history, from Roman foundations to medieval fortifications, and discover fascinating exhibits on its role during World War II.
Make your way to Dover Priory station where you will catch a train back to London. A private transfer will meet you at St Pancras station to return you to your hotel.

This morning, make your way to Buckingham Palace to witness the iconic Changing of the Guards’ ceremony. Your hotel concierge will be happy to arrange a taxi.
Next, you will begin your Royal Day Out at Buckingham Palace. starting with a visit to The King’s Gallery to see the exhibition The Edwardians: Age of Elegance. Next you will visit the Royal Mews where you will see historic coaches and carriages, including the Gold State Coach and the Diamond Jubilee State Coach. Your Royal Day Out will finish with a tour through the magnificent State Rooms in Buckingham Palace which are used by The King for ceremonial occasions and official entertaining.
After a full afternoon exploring the history and sights of Buckingham Palace you can return to your hotel or venture elsewhere.
