This morning, explore some of Dublin’s most iconic sights, starting with a tour of Trinity College and the Book of Kells. You’ll visit the Trinity Campus (self-guided), before making your way to the Old Library for an audio tour of the Book of Kells with its new immersive digital experience. Later, take a walk through the famous Temple Bar, the live trad. music spills out from many of the pubs and cafes along the cobbled stoned streets. Stop for a beverage or two, checking out some musicians and buskers as you go, making your way to the iconic Guinness Storehouse for a late afternoon tour. From the moment you step inside this historic establishment, you’ll be immersed in the rich heritage of Guinness, tracing its roots back to its founding by Arthur Guinness in 1759.

This morning, you will begin your journey into the countryside travelling through Ireland’s hidden heartlands. Dive right into the wonder of ancient Ireland with a stop at the Rock of Cashel, an immaculately preserved cathedral set on a dramatic outcrop of limestone in the Golden Vale. Iconic in its historic significance, The Rock of Cashel possesses the most impressive cluster of medieval buildings in Ireland. Among the monuments to be found there is a round tower, a high cross, a Romanesque chapel, a Gothic cathedral, an abbey, the Hall of the Vicars Choral, and a fifteenth-century Tower House. Continue on after lunch to Sheen Falls, situated amidst the majestic landscapes of the Ring of Kerry.

Relax at the spa, enjoy some clay pigeon shooting or falconry, book a tee time, or try your hand at fishing. We are happy to make reservations for you in advance. This afternoon, we have arranged a private boat tour for you to explore the wildlife, marine life, and breath taking scenery of Kenmare Bay! The local skipper Paddy has spent his life fishing these waters and has plenty of tales to share about his catches and days at sea. With views from the Ring of Kerry all around, you will really appreciate the paradise of the beautiful Kerry landscape. This really is the best-kept secret of the Wild Atlantic Way.

The otherworldly exposed limestone landscape contains a fascinating mix of wildflowers, wildlife, geology, and ancient tombs. Visit a local farmer and enjoy a private viewing of their sheepdog experience, an exhilarating demonstration of absolutely adorable and keenly intelligent dogs. Afterward, we recommend a visit to Poulnabrone Dolmen, just down the road. Dating back over 5,000 years, this Neolithic portal tomb is one of the most iconic and well-preserved megalithic monuments in Ireland. End your day at Ireland’s most famous cliffs, the Cliffs of Moher, enjoying a walk along the dramatic cliff edge on a background of coastal panoramas.
