Day 1 - Saturday 23rd August - Welcome to Scotland

On arrival at the airport, you will be met by a private driver who will transfer you to your city centre hotel. Depending on your arrival time you can choose to relax at the hotel or head out to start exploring this unique city.

Day 2 - Sunday 24th August - Highlights of Glasgow

Embark on a private morning walking tour of Glasgow, delving into the city’s fascinating history and vibrant culture. Visit the breathtaking Glasgow Cathedral, a prime example of Gothic architecture, and explore other iconic landmarks like Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the historic University of Glasgow, and the renowned Glasgow School of Art. Day 3 - Monday 25th August - Loch Lomond

This morning your driver guide will meet you at you accommodation in Glasgow ready to begin the next stage of your journey through Scotland. Head to Loch Lomond National park where you can take a stroll through the charming village of Luss before setting out on the sparkling waters of Loch Lomond for a boat cruise, weaving around some of its smaller islands while learning about the area’s history. Watch for local wildlife, including ospreys, red deer, and perhaps something more elusive. After lunch back on shore, travel on to your accommodation for the next few nights on the West Coast.

Day 4 - Tuesday 26th August - Kerrera And Explore Oban

This morning, catch a tiny ferry to the beautiful Isle of Kerrera and enjoy a lovely walk where you can discover the stunning ruins of Gylen Castle and keep an eye out for wildlife. After your walk, return to the mainland where you can spend some time exploring Oban: stroll along the promenade and taste the freshest seafood before finishing your afternoon with a tour at the local distillery.

Day 5 - Wednesday 27th August - Experience Glencoe

Today head to the the dramatic mountains and ridges of Glencoe which have featured in numerous films, and it’s easy to understand why when gazing up at these towering peaks. First visit the thoughtful and accredited Glencoe Visitor Centre to discover more about the turbulent history, geology, and wildlife of this iconic Highland glen. Learn about the Massacre of Glencoe, see how the landscape has shaped local life and check out the ‘Pioneers of the Peaks’ exhibition, which shines a spotlight on the men and women who have pushed the limits of climbing in the surrounding mountains. This afternoon, take some time to explore this iconic valley with a guide, offering routes that cater to all levels of energy and adventure. As the day winds down, head back to your accommodation in Oban taking a moment to reflect on the history that has shaped this area.

Day 6 - Thursday 28th August - Stirling Castle

This morning, leave the west coast behind as you head to Edinburgh. Along the way, visit Stirling Castle, an iconic fortress steeped in Scotland’s history, perched high on a rocky hilltop with sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. After exploring the castle, head on to Edinburgh where, upon arrival at your accommodation, your guide will depart.

Option: Alternatively, stop along the way to immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of Scotland’s wild waters. With your expert ghillie by your side, enjoy a private fishing experience tailored to your skill and interests—whether casting on a loch or along a riverbank. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, you’ll learn or refine your technique while soaking in the quiet magic of the landscape.

Day 7 - Friday 29th August - Explore Edinburgh

This morning, a private walking tour with an expert guide unveils the winding cobbled streets of Edinburgh’s historic Old Town. Highlights include the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the mighty fortress of Edinburgh Castle at the top of the Royal Mile. From the castle ramparts, tales of the One O’Clock Gun and the city’s past come to life. The tour concludes at the castle, leaving time to explore its halls and exhibitions.

This evening, roll up your sleeves as you enjoy a hands-on cooking experience learning some of the traditional recipes iconic to the food heritage of Scotland.
