On arrival at Edinburgh Airport you will be met by your private driver/guide and head directly towards the peaceful Highland landscape. Depending on your arrival time there may be an opportunity for a hike or explorations along the way.
D1 – Arrive Edinburgh Airport. Met by their private Driver/Guide (also a qualified hiking guide) and head directly north to Fonab Castle Hotel in Pitlochry. Rooms in the original castle building (gorgeous setting overlooking the loch). Depending on arrival time there could be time for a hike or a visit to Scone Palace on the way north (drive time only approx 1.5hrs). Relaxing evening to spend time together.

D2 – One day hiking and exploring the local area with their guide, they could even bag a wee Highland summit if the weather is on board and they fancy it. Loads of superb hiking in the area! There are also options for a private tour of an ancient castle, canoeing on a loch, tasting of award-winning chocolate truffles, 4×4 Mountain Safari with a kilted ranger (if they want the views without the work!) or a tour of Aberfeldy Distillery.

D3 – Transfer back down to Edinburgh. Option for hike in the morning. And they could stop for a tour at the gorgeous Glenturret Distillery (if they like fine dining then this has a Michelin Starred restaurant). Options for stopping at Stirling Castle or something a little more off the beaten path on the way (like kayaking to have a picnic by a ruined castle on a loch). Or just head back to settle into their Edinburgh hotel and enjoy a chilled afternoon.

D4 – Hike some of the Fife Coastal Trail with their guide today. Take them along the coastline between charming Fishing villages (with award-winning ‘fish & chips’), lovely views back to Edinburgh, could even finish with a look around St Andrews or land yachting on the beach there (and the option to finish with a tour of Kingsbarns Distillery). Then return to Edinburgh, where their guide will depart leaving them to enjoy the rest of the day themselves. Option for evening meal at the iconic Scottish Malt Whisky Society with matched drams.

D5 – Morning private walking tour of Edinburgh Highlights & Old Town (avoiding the crowds where possible) with an expert local guide. Finish at Edinburgh Castle. Free afternoon to chill and self-explore.
