Meet your friendly Wilderness Scotland guide in Inverness, and make the short transfer south, arriving in the Cairngorms National Park, the largest in the UK. Time permitting we will head straight to the RSPB Abernethy Nature Reserve. Keep your eyes peeled to spot breeding Osprey, Crested Tits, Red Squirrels, Bank Voles, Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Siskins and Common Lizards among the Caledonian forest wildlife. After an afternoon well spent transfer to your comfortable Highland guest house and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 2 - Wildlife Boat Trip

This morning after a leisurely breakfast we will head towards Inverness and the Moray Firth to join a boat cruise.

Once onboard the Inverness Spirit Cruise we will enjoy stunning views, local history, and rich wildlife, all delivered through an engaging onboard commentary. We will navigate the Beauly Firth, venture under the Kessock Bridge into the Inverness Firth, and then as far as Munlochy Bay before returning to the marina. Hear tales of the local history and folklore whilst taking in the stunning views across the water and keeping our eyes peeled for passing dolphins. Before heading back to the Cairngorms we will visit Chanonry  Point, this narrow peninsula is an ideal location with views across the Moray Firth to Fort George and with lots of fellow dolphin watchers you are unlikely to miss any sightings. This afternoon before heading back to our accommodation we will head to beautiful Rothiemurchus Estate where we will feed magnificent Red Deer.

Day 3 - First Light Osprey Photography

This morning alarms are set early to rise for a very special early first morning light osprey photography session. Our eyes will be trained to the skies to look out for this iconic bird. Late April and early morning would be the best time to see the male birds fishing so hopefully we will see this majestic bird plunging towards the water surrounding by the stunning Cairngorms National Park. After a fabulous morning we will pick our bags up from our accommodation in Aviemore and head South to Perthshire. Take this opportunity to have a nap after our early start, if you are feeling like another visit then we will stop at the Loch of the Lowes this reserve covers 130 hectares including woodland, freshwater loch and the visitor centre and hides. There is potential for osprey, great crested grebe as well as red squirrels, mallards, swans, fallow deer and great-spotted woodpeckers. After a lovely afternoon we will head to Callander and our comfortable accommodation for your final night.

Overnight: Callander | Lubnaig Guest House
Meals Included: Breakfast and Lunch

Day 4 - Argaty Red Kite Centre then depart

This morning after breakfast we will head to the Argaty Red Kite Centre. You will find yourself captivated by the breathtaking display of these magnificent birds of prey. Watching a spectacular feeding session where a swirl of red kites swooped down from the skies to feast on the provided food. Witnessing these agile and graceful birds in their natural habitat will be truly awe-inspiring. The expert guides shared fascinating insights into the conservation efforts aimed at protecting the endangered red kites. Witnessing these agile and graceful birds in their natural habitat will be a fitting end to your trip. Your guide will return you to a local train station or Airport for your journey South.
