Overview

Picturesque coastal towns and villages, green pastoral fields, soaring cliffs, wild barren landscapes, the crash of the ocean, the laugh of a local. Ireland is romantic, authentic, a home away from home where both old and modern seem to cohabit seamlessly on a small island in the middle of the sea. Packed with history and tradition your days are spent exploring the island of Ireland’s famous and off the beaten track sites of natural, cultural and political interest. A world renowned food scene means your evenings are spent dining in style and with the promise of a pub just around the corner, music and laughter are never far away. Your trip to Ireland will surprise and delight you but the people of Ireland will stay with you, long after your journey has taken you home.

Day by Day

Day 1 - Friday 4th April - The Burren National Park

Arrive in Ireland today and meet your guide in Shannon Airport. Be whisked away towards the rocky landscape of County Clare. Head north through the flora and fauna of the Burren National Park. This afternoon, at a local distillery, a resident whiskey expert will treat you to an appreciation session and will introduce you to a few of the lesser known Irish whiskeys. Tastings are entirely optional and each of your family can choose to take part in the tasting, as the host will provide a range of soft drinks as well.

Spend the night in Doolin, a charming village on Ireland’s west coast, feels like stepping back in time while embracing the warmth of modern Irish hospitality. Nestled near the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin is renowned for its traditional music scene, where local pubs fill the evening air with lively folk tunes, often accompanied by the sound of fiddles, bodhráns, and flutes. The village has long been a hub for seafaring folk, and its history as a fishing village dates back centuries.

Overnight: Doolin | Doolin Inn

Day 2 - Saturday 5th April - The Cliffs of Moher

The Cliffs of Moher are undoubtedly one of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks. Soaring 700 feet above the wild Atlantic, many visitors only catch a glimpse of these awe-inspiring cliffs. To truly appreciate their vastness and beauty, we’ll trek along the full length of the cliffs. As we follow the cliffside path, we’ll be treated to breathtaking vistas, dramatic panoramas, and the sight of seabirds diving into the ocean below, all while soaking in the raw beauty of one of Ireland’s most unforgettable landscapes.

Set sail this afternoon with a ferry boat cruise under the Cliffs of Moher for views most never see. The cliffs are home to a myriad of seabirds and aquatic life with views of the stacks, the Aran Islands and O’Brien’s tower all from the safety and comfort of the ferry.

Day 3 - Sunday 6th April - County Clare and The Kingdom of Kerry

As you leave the rugged beauty of Clare behind, the road winds southward, hugging the edges of rolling hills and sweeping vistas of the Atlantic. Along the way, a charming stop at a local goat farm offers a unique, hands-on experience. Here, you can meet the friendly goats, learn about the farm’s artisanal cheeses, and even sample some fresh goat cheese while soaking in the tranquil surroundings.

Continuing your journey, the terrain shifts to the dramatic hills and coastal views that define the Dingle Peninsula. You’ll be greeted by the iconic green hills, colorful villages, and the unmistakable charm that makes Dingle such a beloved destination.

Day 4 - Monday 7th April - Killarney National Park

Killarney National Park is the most famous of Ireland’s national parks – and with good reason, as it is flourishing with breathtaking mountains, lakes and waterfalls. Historic manor houses and abbeys make for an interesting visit but Killarney is best explored via a private e-bike tour of the park finishing at the incredible Ross Castle. Ross Castle, located on the edge of Lough Leane in Killarney National Park, is one of Ireland’s most well-preserved and iconic castles. It was built in the late 15th century by the O’Donoghue clan, a prominent family in the region.

Spending an evening in Dingle feels like stepping into a storybook, with the colorful streets of this charming coastal town coming alive as dusk falls. After a day spent exploring Killarney National Park, you can wander along the picturesque harbour, where the sight of bobbing fishing boats and the distant hills provide a perfect backdrop for a peaceful evening.

Day 5 - Tuesday 8th April - Dingle Peninsula

Spend today exploring the Dingle Peninsula; there is much to discover. This morning, you have the option for either horse-back riding along the Dingle Peninsula or meet our feather-friends for a private falconry demonstration.

Options for the day include, strapping on the boots and take to the hills and trails for a hike, grab some takeaway coffees and browse the local stores or take the famous Slea Head Drive route along the Wild Atlantic Way with ancient archaeological sites, like the Fahan Beehive Huts. The peninsula delivers breathtaking views around every corner. Be sure not to miss my personal favourite,  Dunquin Harbour ( pictured). Round off your day with some award-winning ice cream and today is going to be a perfect day.

For a classic Dublin experience, tour the Guinness Storehouse or enjoy a walk along the River Liffey. Whether you’re into history, culture, or just a good pint, Dublin has plenty to offer.
