Day by Day

Day 1 - Sunday 1st June - Welcome to Scotland

On arrival at the airport you will be met by a private driver who will transfer you to your city centre hotel. Depending on your arrival time you can choose to relax at the hotel or head out to start exploring this unique city.

Day 2 - Monday 2nd June - Exploring Edinburgh

This morning immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. Your guide will leave you here so that you can spend as much time in the castle as you wish.

You then have a free afternoon to continue explorations at your own pace, pick up souvenirs or relax as you prefer, before a truly indulgent experience as you sample some of the best whisky Scotland has to offer alongside beautifully crafted, bite size treats, fresh from the Scottish larder.

Day 3 - Tuesday 3rd June - Battlefields and Scotland's First National Park

This morning you will meet your experienced guide, who will also act as your driver for the next few days, and head out of the city towards a famous Scottish landmark, Bannockburn. The site of one of Scotland’s most important battles, this is a chance to learn about the people involved and the outcomes that would shape Scotland’s future.

From here, you will continue on for Scotland’s first designated National Park, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs. Enjoy your stay at your loch side accommodation, before a day of explorations tomorrow.

Day 4 - Wednesday 4th June - Cruise On Loch Lomond

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, board your luxury boat and head out onto Loch Lomond for a scenic one hour boat tour. Enjoy the beautiful scenery as you take in the best of the views from the water. Enjoy a glass of champagne onboard as you share a toast to this stunning location.

Once you land back a shore, meet your guide for a spot of lunch, before venturing up a local hill to gain a new perspective of the Loch you were just on. This 4km walk will take roughly 3 hours and takes you up to 350 metres, and as a reward offers stunning views out over the surrounding area.

Day 5 - Thursday 5th June - A British Delicacy

After a leisurely breakfast it is time to sample a truly delightful British delicacy, Afternoon Tea. Enjoy wonderfully crafted sandwiches and pastries, all washed down with your choice of tea as you get the chance to experience one of the highest forms of dinning Britain has to offer.

It is now time to enjoy some down time at the hotel. You could head out and explore the grounds, or take advantage of the spa offerings available at the hotel*, before settling in for the chance to learn about the myth and legend that exists in the area. A captivating storyteller will weave their way through history, giving life to the stories that have been based down through time.

Day 6 - Friday 6th June - Transfer to Lochview House Hotel

This morning a private transfer will collect you from your hotel and take you south towards your accommodation for the upcoming wedding. Enjoy the views as you travel along through Scottish countryside to your destination.

Day 7 - Saturday 7th June - Wedding

Day 8 - Sunday 8th June - Depart
