Day by Day

Day 1 - Saturday 7th June - Welcome to the UK!

On arrival at Heathrow you will be met by your private guide (who will also act as your driver for your time together) and together you will head to Oxford. Depending on your time of arrival you may have some time this after noon to start your explorations of this ‘City of Dreaming Spires’.

Maybe watch the punters along the serene River Cherwell, soaking in the timeless charm of this quintessentially Oxford sport before setting out on a tranquil boat cruise yourselves. Finishing with a delicious dinner in a riverside restaurant, a perfect way to spend your first evening in the UK.

Day 2 - Sunday 8th June - Oxford's Academic Tales & Cotswold's Charming Villages

This morning a local expert city guide will take you on a fascinating private walking tour of Oxford’s old town. Bringing to life iconic buildings such as the historic Bodleian Library, one of the oldest libraries in Europe, where countless treasures of knowledge await. Pause for a moment of reflection at the Radcliffe Camera, and wander through the enchanting cobbled streets of the city centre full of unique academic architecture.

This afternoon head into the Cotswolds with your main guide to explore some of the highlights of the region. Cherished for its pastoral charm, pretty villages, flower-rich limestone grassland and deep incised valleys, this is an extremely pretty and interesting place to explore and your guide will share their favourite local hidden gems with you.

Visit an elegant historic home or wander along quaint streets to discover traditional tea rooms, local artist creations and photogenic views. You may choose to enjoy dinner in one of these villages before your guide drives you the 1 hour back to your Oxford hotel.

Day 3 - Monday 9th June - Return To London

This morning your guide will take you into the heart of London. After you drop your bags at your hotel they will depart, leaving you to head off on a different type of adventure and enjoy your London experiences.

You will be picked up by 2 Classic Mini Cooper cars and head out on a unique private London exploration. Discover the local’s favourite spots, as well as getting good views of some of the iconic highlights, with your enthusiastic local guides. Finish up with an interactive appreciation of the vibrant street art to be found all over London as you try your hand at painting a bit of ‘graffiti’ yourselves.

After 2 hours your drivers will drop you off in a great area for you to find lunch, before you get a good birds eye view of the city’s skyline with a whirl on the London Eye. You then have a free afternoon to follow your curiosity and explore the local markets with tips from your morning guides.

Day 4 - Tuesday 10th June - Private Explorations of London

Today you get to delve deeper into London with a private expert city guide to share all the best hidden gems with you. Start by heading to Buckingham Palace to catch the Changing of the Guard Ceremony. You will then catch the ‘river bus’ along the Thames to Tower Bridge, which looks even better when approached along the water.

Here you will head into the Tower of London after lunch. Immerse yourself in tales of a turbulent Royal past and admire the Crown Jewels under the watchful eyes of the Beefeaters. Discover unique traditions and learn why the tower Ravens are known as the Guardians of the Tower.

Then finish your UK adventures with an all-singing-all-dancing performance in the West End. What better way to end this stage of your trip?
