Day by Day

Day 1 - Saturday 24th May - Welcome to the UK!

On arrival at Heathrow you will be met by your private guide (who will also act as your driver for your time together) and together you will head to Bath. Depending on your time of arrival you may have some time this afternoon to start your explorations of this historic city.

Perhaps grab a famous Sally Lunn bun and take a refreshing stroll in Sydney Gardens, following the footsteps of Jane Austen or relive the Georgian era at No. 1 Royal Crescent or simply peruse the boutique stores and shops before relaxing at the hotel.

Day 2 - Sunday 25th May - Exploring Bath and The Cotswolds

This morning, meet your local city guide for an exploration of Bath city centre. This delightful journey through history and architecture, with its elegant Georgian buildings, charming streets, and inviting shops and cafes has something for all the family. The highlight is undoubtedly the Roman Baths, where you can wander through the remarkably preserved ancient complex, marvelling at the hot springs, the Great Bath, and the intricate Roman engineering. Daily rituals and grandeur of Roman times are brought to life, then as you step out into the nearby Bath Abbey and the bustling streets, filled with vibrant street performers and markets, perfectly round off the enchanting experience of this UNESCO World Heritage city.

This afternoon head into the Cotswolds with your main guide to explore some of the highlights of the region. Cherished for its pastoral charm, pretty villages, flower-rich limestone grassland and deep incised valleys, this is an extremely pretty and interesting place to explore and your guide will share their favourite local hidden gems with you.

Day 3 - Monday 26th May - Return To London

This morning your guide will take you into the heart of London with a stop along the way to visit the historic Stonehenge for a mesmerising experience. Marvel at the awe-inspiring sight of the ancient stone circle rising majestically against the vast Salisbury Plain. As you walk around the site, the sense of history and mystery surrounding the monument is palpable, enhanced by your guide detailing its construction and theories of its purpose.

Arrive at your city centre hotel and bid farewell to your guide, leaving you to head off on a different type of adventure and enjoy your London experiences.

Day 4 - Tuesday 27th May - The British Museum and Tower of London

Day 5 - Wednesday 28th May - Highlights of London

Today you get to delve deeper into London with a private expert city guide to share all the best hidden gems with you. Start by heading to Buckingham Palace to catch the Changing of the Guard Ceremony.

Next, find yourself in the hallowed halls of Westminster Abbey, where every corner resonates with centuries of British history. The solemn beauty of this place will leave you in awe, as you explore the final resting place of kings, queens, poets, and statesmen whilst learning about the home of Royal coronations and weddings.

The rest of the day is flexible and your guide will customise your explorations to your personal interests.

Then finish your UK adventures with an all-singing-all-dancing performance in the West End. What better way to end this stage of your trip?
