Day by Day

Day 1 - Friday 7th June - Arrival in Ireland

Arrival in Shannon, meet you guide and travel to bohemian Galway where the streets are alive. Head to Galway where you will join a local historical guide for a tour of Galway and a delicious lunch in Ard Bia

This evening head to Letterfrack, to Rossleague Manor for dinner and your first night in Ireland where your guide will join you for dinner.

Day 2 - Saturday 8th June - Connemara National Park

This morning, its time to stretch your legs, and explore with a morning hike up Diamond Hill. If mom in law prefers, she can take a morning at the hotel to relax. With an appetite well and truly worked up, head to Veldons for a delicious lunch before heading to Kylemore Abbey for a tour of the Abbey and Walled Gardens.

Dinner this evening will be in Mitchels in the wonderful wee town of Clifden where you will find trad. Music in many local pubs.

Day 3 - Sunday 9th June - From Galway to Clare

Leaving Connemara this morning first stop is a family run crystal factory where you can meet the master cutters and watch as they create magnificent glass wears.
Continuing on to Kinvara, you will stop for lunch, see the Galway Hooker, traditional wooden boats and take a walk at Doolin Caves. Off the beaten track, the sacred Doolin Caves are a hidden gem where you will find the most extradionary stalactite, the biggest in Europe.

Your hotel this evening is the family run Gregnas Castle in the heart of The Burren.

Day 4 - Monday 10th June - Aran Island Day

Take to the waters today and explore the Aran Islands on bike, visit Gabriel and a local goat farm and taste the delicious cheese, cycle to Dun Aeongus, the ancient Fort, Lunch Tigh Tigh Paddy and see The Cliffs on your return boat journey.

This evening dinner is in Doolin

Day 5 - Tuesday 11th June - Lahinch & Burren

An active morning with a trip to the longest beach in Ireland Lanich. Don a wet suit and take to the waters for a surf lesson with a local.
If your not brave enough to get wet, head to Liscannor with your guide for a short cliff walk and learn more of the flora and fauna to be found in Clare.

Lunch today is a local perfumery who take inspiration from the local flowers in their wears.

This afternoon, meet a local farmer where you will learn about the local practices and take a private tour of the karst environment.

Day 6 - Wednesday 12th June - Dromoland Castle

Leaving the Burren, your exploration to Irish heritage continues with a private Irish Dancing lesson in a local theater. Are you the next Michal Flattlley? Our destination is  Dromoland Castle where you will explore the grounds of this historic 16th castle on horse back before lunch and checking in.

There are options on site to do carraige rides, falconry and spa treatments before your final dinner in style.

Day 7 - Thursday 13th June - Depart

Today your guide will take you back to Shannon Airport for your departing flights home
