Day by Day

Day 1 - Arrive Inverness

Today, meet your guide in Inverness, who will take you to explore the city and the surroundings. Visit the nearby Culloden battlefield before a walk along the River Ness to explore Inverness Cathedral. This evening have time to relax at your luxury hotel.

Day 2 - Travel to the Cairngorms - Day with a local Artist

Travel south with your guide to the highland village of Grantown on Spey. Visit a local Artist at their studio for an afternoon exploring your creative side. Be led thorough different techniques, with materials of your choice to create your very own masterpiece. Enjoy a short walk in the local woodlands before continuing on to your  accommodation on a nearby estate.

Day 3 - Capture and Create

Morning Photography session with a local expert. Catch the early morning light over the tranquil Loch, you will be spoilt for choice of where to set up your camera. Retire to the local cafe for coffee and maybe one of their famous scones!

Later in the day, head to a unique outdoor workshop in a woodland glade, where you will meet a local craftsman. Learn how he creates his beautiful unique carved pieces out of local Scottish wood and you can then have a shot at creating a special wee souvenir yourself.

Day 4 - Cookery Class and Travel to the Coast

After a hearty breakfast, journey the scenic drive to the beautiful region of Perthshire. On the way, stop to stretch your legs with a short walk to a stunning viewpoint. This afternoon, enjoy an exclusive cookery class with an award-winning chef. Inspired by the landscape and local, sustainable produce, cook up a storm enjoying the zest of a meal created from the wild region. Continue to your lovely accommodation on the Fife coast.

Day 5 - St Andrews and the Fife Coast

Stroll the coastal town of St Andrews today, where your guides will lead you on a tour to explore the past. This town is known for its rich history. From Castle ruins to the Cathedral, while also being home to the oldest University in Scotland, dating back to 1413. Explore the cobbled streets and perhaps stroll by the world famous golf course or enjoy an afternoon on the beach.

Day 6 - Explore Edinburgh

Meet an expert city guide to provide you insight into the tales and history of this charming city. Discover the true character of the Old Town and some of the lesser known sites.

Later your guide will take you out of the city to the enigma that is Rosslyn Chapel, made famous by The Da Vinci Code. Originally founded in 1446, the chapel features intricate carvings and decorations which have prompted many different theories connected with the Knights Templar and the Freemasons amongst others.

This evening head to the famous Princes Street to enjoy an immersive journey through the history and craftsmanship of whisky and perhaps watch the sunset, taking in the views over the city from an iconic rooftop terrace.

Day 7 - Glasgow Private Walking Tour & Free Afternoon

Explore the highlights of the city on a private walking tour with an expert local guide this morning.  Discover the stories tied in with the varied architecture of streets that have been home to all kinds of creatives over the years. See the influences of Charles Rennie MackIntosh and admire the popular contemporary graffiti murals tucked into unexpected corners all over the city. Your guide will depart at lunchtime, leaving you to continue with further city explorations at your own pace.

Day 8 - Nature and Heritage

Spend your final day of your Scottish travels with a relaxing morning at your hotel spa if you wish, before meeting with your city guide. Head out to discover some of the lesser known sights, perhaps take a stroll in one of the city’s green spaces, Pollock Park or the Botanic Gardens. Later, visit the Scottish Jewish Heritage Centre for a guided tour of this beautiful building and learn of the contributions the community have made throughout Scotland’s past.

Day 9 - Depart

A private transfer will collect you from your hotel this morning and take you to the Airport for your onward travel connections. Taking with you cherished memories of your Scottish adventures.
