Day by Day

Day 1 - Sunday 9th June - Welcome to Scotland

Welcome to Scotland. A private transfer will meet you at the airport and take you to your boutique hotel in the centre of this iconic city.  You will have time to relax and refresh before your concert this evening.

Day 2 - Monday 10th June - Exploring Edinburgh and it's hidden gems

This morning you will be met at your hotel by an expert local guide and head out to explore the historic cobbled streets of the Old Town. Discover some delicious foodie delights, see some of the key attractions and hear the stories of days gone by.  Late afternoon you will discover yet another side of Edinburgh as you adventure down underneath Edinburgh on a private underground tour of a warren of tiny fascinating streets dating from the 17th century.

Day 3 - Tuesday 11th June - Transfer to Braemar & Off-roading

This morning you will meet your private guide/driver who will be with you for the rest of your Scottish adventure.  Together, you will travel to your next luxurious accommodation in the beautiful town of Braemar.  Your first stop will be an exhilarating off road driving experience, navigating rugged terrain you will learn how to control the power and understand the agility of these sturdy vehicles in challenging terrain.  You can choose where else you stop, perhaps visit a historic castle or pick another hike in this beautiful region of the country.

Day 4 - Wednesday 12th June - Hiking and Wild Swimming

Enjoy a guided hike in the stunning landscape of the Highlands.  Your guide will discuss several great options with you to make sure you have the best experience possible.  From high peaks to towering forests, there are so many choices for you to choose from. Later, immerse yourself in the invigorating waters of Deeside surrounded by the beauty and serenity of nature.  Plunge into the refreshing water and feel your whole body tingle as the water sweeps around you before warming up on the riverbank with only the sound of the birdsong for company.

Day 5 - Thursday 13th June - Foraging and Horseback Riding

Embark on a journey of discovery as you learn about the secrets of foraging.  You will enjoy the vibrant colours and earthy scents of the Scottish wilderness as you search the undergrowth for bountiful harvests of berries, wild mushrooms and aromatic herbs.  The afternoon brings a change of pace as you saddle up for an unforgettable horseback ride.  With the sound of the hooves cantering beneath you, breathe in the crisp highland scents and feel the breeze whipping through your hair, an experience which you’ll never forget.

Day 6 - Friday 14th June - Transfer to the Cairngorms and Biking

Today you will transfer to the beautiful Cairngorm National Park, your home for the next two nights.  On arrival, you will take to two wheels and spend the afternoon racing through the ancient Caledonian pine forest.  From thrilling single track with sweeping bends, and wide open roads to challenging hills, enjoy a wonderful afternoon with expert guidance from your guide before arriving at your boutique farmhouse and a welcome dinner made from the fresh ingredients from the garden.

Day 7 - Saturday 15th June - Gorge Scrambling and Mountain hiking

A morning spent gorge scrambling in the rugged beauty of Cairngorms National Park is an exhilarating adventure like no other. As the first rays of the sun pierce through the mist-shrouded mountains, you’ll find yourself wading through crystal-clear mountain streams, navigating narrow ravines, and leaping from one moss-covered boulder to another. The refreshing chill of the water and the echoes of nature’s symphony surround you as you tackle the challenging terrain.  After an adrenaline-filled morning, the afternoon calls for a serene change of pace. Setting out on a hike, you’ll find yourself surrounded by sweeping vistas of heather-clad hills and ancient woodlands. Keep your eyes open for a chance to spot wildlife like red deer and golden eagles as you wander along well-marked trails. A fantastic day for all the family.

Day 8 - Sunday 16th June - Depart - Farewell Scotland

A private transfer will collect you from your accommodation and take you to make your onward connections. Waving farewell for now but taking with you special memories and wonderful stories of your travels.
