Day 1 - Monday 1st July - Welcome to Dublin & Musical Walking Tour

Arriving in Ireland today, a private transfer will pick you up from the airport and whisk you to your boutique hotel in the city centre. Check-in and head out in the afternoon to enjoy a walking tour with a private guide through the rich musical heritage of Dublin. Led by a knowledgeable local, you’ll stroll through the streets of Dublin and discover the stories and songs of the city’s most impactful musicians. From traditional Irish music to the sounds of rock, pop, and beyond, Dublin has been a melting pot of musical creativity for centuries. Along the way, you’ll visit iconic landmarks and venues associated with legendary artists such as U2, Thin Lizzy, The Dubliners, and more, hearing tales of their rise to fame and the lasting impact of their music on the city. Tonight enjoy dinner at one of Dublin’s many award-winning restaurants.

Day 2 - Tuesday 2nd July - Guinness Storehouse Experience & Exploring Dublin

Today you’ll indulge your senses in the world of Guinness as we have arranged a connoisseur’s private experience at the Guinness Storehouse, where you will discover the history and origins of the world-famous stout. There is an endless list of things to do in Dublin, some of our recommendations include a Georgian townhouse tenement museum and a landmark building that was once the scene of some of Ireland’s most important political events.

Day 3 - Wednesday 3rd July - Drive to Cork via Kilkenny

This morning, you’ll check out of your hotel, pick up your rental car and make your way into Ireland’s rolling green midlands. Ireland’s eastern seaboard was Europe’s centre for scholarly learning in the Middle Ages, as evidenced by the plethora of ancient monasteries, abbeys and churches in this part of the country. Kilkenny’s centrepiece is the 11th-century castle – a centre for Norman rule that has survived centuries of invasion and turmoil. You’ll take a tour of the castle and enjoy some lunch before continuing south to “The Rebel County”, Cork. Your boutique luxury hotel is nestled within beautiful walled gardens and is the perfect base to explore.

Day 4 - Thursday 4th July - Kinsale Food Tour

After breakfast, you’ll make your way to the bright coastal town of Kinsale. Historically a medieval fishing port, its spectacular waterfront setting and candy-colored houses, shops, and restaurants, make it a glorious blend of old and the new. Here you’ll embark on a delightful culinary journey where every bite tells a story of tradition, innovation, and local flavour. As your local guide regales you with stories of the town, enjoy fresh seafood, artisan cheeses, and vibrant produce sourced from nearby farms. Afterward, enjoy a stroll through the village and a browse in the stores before heading back to your accommodation. Tonight, we recommend a wander around Cork City and dinner in one of its many award-winning restaurants.

Day 5 - Friday 5th July - Blarney Castle & Killarney

Checking out of your hotel this morning, say goodbye to Cork as you make your way further north to Killarney. Before doing so, the first port of call is Blarney where you will visit the castle and kiss the Blarney Stone. Continue on after lunch to check in to your accommodation, nestled on the shore of the Lough Lein and with the truly unique backdrop of the mountains, islands, woodlands, and the 12th century McCarthy Mór castle ruins. Enjoy some free time to explore the colourful Killarney town this afternoon, known for its bustling atmosphere and traditional Irish pubs. Finish the day listening to some tunes by an open fire.

Day 6 - Saturday 6th July - Seaweed Foraging the Ring of Kerry

Into the southern part of the Ring of Kerry, the landscape becomes wilder and more rugged. At a secluded bay, join a foraging and foodie expert for a seaweed discovery and tasting walk to uncover the Kerry coast’s edible gems. Together, discover how to sustainably harvest these sea plants, learning how they earned their reputation as a super-food. Enjoy a few nibbles of seaweed yourself, including the flavoursome variety, Duilleasc, which sustained the monks on Skellig Island, the rock pinnacles rising dramatically from the sea on the horizon, or Nori, the famous Sushi roll wrapping. Afterward, explore the Ring of Kerry at your own pace, we’ll give you lots of recommendations for the well-known spots as well as the hidden gems of the area!

Day 7 - Sunday 7th July - The Dingle Peninsula

Today you’ll leave Killarney behing as you make your way to The Dingle Peninsula, which hosts some of the richest collection of archaeological sites in Europe, ranging from standing stones and prehistoric monuments, as well as the peninsula’s renowned ancient clochains or beehive huts – which may be as much as 2,000 years old. Explore the peninsula today with a local hiking guide who will take you on a coastal route along Slea Head Drive, overlooking the eery Blasket Island. This region has some of the most stunning scenery in Ireland, take in panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean while seabirds glide gracefully overhead. Afterward, check in to your hotel and head out to explore Dingle town.

Day 8 - Monday 8th July - Dingle Sea Safari

The best way to discover the best of the Dingle Peninsula? By boat, of course! Spend the day with a charismatic wildlife expert boating around Slea Head and the Blasket Islands, an abandoned archipelago famous for rich literary heritage and unique cultural insight about life in Ireland’s westernmost fringes. Spot seabirds and marine wildlife such as whales, seals and porpoises and dolphins.

Day 9 - Tuesday 9th July - Adare & Afternoon Tea

Leaving the Kingdom of Kerry behind this morning, make your way into the neighbouring counties of Limerick and Clare. Your first stop this morning is into the buzzing village of Adare, where you can stretch your legs with a wander between its traditional thatched-roof cottages, local art galleries, and warming cafes. Afterward, we have arranged an afternoon tea at Dromoland Castle. You’ll enjoy the prettiest selection of treats: scrumptious finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and homemade jams, delicate pastries, their signature tea brack, and the sweetest confections. Continue on to the small village of Ballyvaughan where you will stay for the next two nights, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. There’s a great restaurant at your accommodation that we would recommend for dinner.

Day 10 - Wednesday 10th July - Hiking the Cliffs of Moher

This morning you will drive 30 minutes to the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most impressive natural sites. You’ll meet a local hiking guide and together you will follow a coastal route along the cliffs, passing through a dramatic hinterland with inspiring views offshore to the Aran Islands. The area is teeming with wildlife and 20 different species of birds, including puffins, make this area their home. You’ll finish in the village of Doolin, famous for its traditional music scene. You will stop for a fish n’ chips lunch in a historic stone cottage before returning to Ballyvaughan. We recommend taking the scenic route via Black Head, a mesmerizing stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop for photos en route.

Day 11 - Thursday 11th July - Galway & Connemara

After breakfast, you’ll drive one hour to Galway, a charming Medieval-era city with a thriving arts scene. You will have some free time to explore, do some shopping, or people watching at the city’s iconic Tigh Neachtain pub. From Galway, it is 1h30 further into Connemara, a Gaeltacht (Gaelic-speaking region) known for its windswept landscapes of mountains, beach, and bog. For the next two nights, you are staying in Delphi Lodge, built in the 1830s on the foot of Connaght’s highest mountains.

Day 12 - Friday 12th July - Fishing at Delphi Lodge

Fly fishermen have been coming to Delphi for centuries. Formerly it was the sporting playground of the Marquis of Sligo. It is now particularly noted for its excellent runs of Atlantic salmon. You’ll spend a delightful day fishing at Delphi Lodge. Head to the river with your fishing gear and hopefully you’ll be lucky enough to catch a bite! This evening, we recommend heading into the small town of Clifden to catch some live music and a bite to eat.
