Once you are ready, you will head off to start exploring the pretty villages and cute towns of the Cotswolds from the Slaughters to Bourton-on-the-Water, there are so many little places to stop off and explore that you will be spoilt for choice.  Your guide will make sure that the whole day is tailored to suit you – including a wee stop off perhaps Daylesford which Jeremy Clarkson has visited on many occasions!

Later on, should you wish, you can head over to Broadway which is known for it’s wonderful local shops and chocolate box houses in a charming village.  Here, you can take a walk up to Broadway Tower where you can see 5 counties all laid out before you before heading to Snowshill that boasts a wonderful model village in its grounds.

Before you return to your hotel tonight, you will stop off at The Farmer’s Dog – Clarkson’s newly refurbished pub in Burford – for a birthday meal.  Enjoy a pint of his own beer, a burger from his cows and the friendly banter of the locals.  A great experience for Diddly Squat fans and a great way to end your birthday.

For your husband, a thrilling morning awaits as your guide drives you to Thruxton Race Circuit – the fastest race track in the country.  Here you can choose from either a private lesson on the skid pan – feeling the G force pin you as you drag the cars through the hard turns – or racing some super cars such as a McLaren 570S or a Ferrari 458 Spider as well as a single seater on the racetrack.  The choice is yours depending on what you would rather do.

You’ll meet up again at the hotel in the afternoon where you can either head out to explore some of the area with your guide or simply relax for your last afternoon at the hotel and indulge in some spa treatments or perhaps a decadent afternoon tea to celebrate the end of this wonderful trip.
