This morning, visit the iconic Broadway Tower, offering a captivating blend of history, nature, and panoramic views. Originally built as a folly in the 18th century, the tower’s rich past includes roles as a residence, artist’s retreat, and wartime signalling station. Take a chance and climb to the rooftop and admire breathtaking vistas of patchwork fields, meandering rivers, and distant landmarks like the Malvern Hills.
After, embark on a picturesque walk, traversing rolling hills, from the tower to Chipping Campden. As you approach, its distinctive honey-coloured stone buildings come into view, welcoming you to this charming market town. Meander through its quaint streets lined with historic cottages, exploring artisan shops, watch silversmiths craft their work and enjoy lunch in a cosy pub, immersing yourself in the town’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere.
OPTION 2:
This morning, visit Sudeley Castle and take a serene stroll through its lush gardens, bursting with vibrant flowers and ancient yew hedges, as the sun casts a golden glow over the historic stone walls. Inside, the castle’s rich tapestry of history unfolds through beautifully preserved rooms and exhibits, offering glimpses into the lives of past monarchs and nobility.
Afterward, arrive in the picturesque village of Daylesford, set in the tranquil Cotswolds countryside and start your afternoon savouring a farm-to-table lunch, complemented by organic wines or fresh juices. Then, head to the Daylesford Cookery School for a hands-on course focused on local produce, where you’ll learn to prepare dishes using farm-fresh ingredients.
