Day 1 - Saturday 3rd August - Arrival in Cardiff

As you step into Cardiff Airport, a sense of anticipation fills the air, knowing that your Welsh adventure is about to unfold. Meet your private driver guide for the week who will whisk you away to your first stop: Raglan Castle. As you journey through the picturesque Welsh countryside, be regaled with tales of the castle’s rich history, setting the stage for an unforgettable tour. Arriving at Raglan Castle, absorb the grandeur and medieval charm. With your guide leading the way, explore the ancient walls and hidden nooks, immersing yourselves in centuries of stories. After an enriching tour, continue your journey to your Grade 2 listed Welsh farmhouse, where cosy comfort awaits. Day 2 - Sunday 4th August - Volunteering in the Brecon Beacons

Day 3 - Monday 5th August - Family Adventures

Begin your day by trying your hand with Agility with Donkeys before stopping for a delicious bite to eat in a local cafe. Spend the afternoon indulging in Afternoon Tea with pigs. An activity not to be forgotten! Return to the family home for dinner. From the cosy hearth of their home to the sweeping vistas of the surrounding hills, this day unfolds as a cherished chapter in your family’s narrative, creating lasting memories in the heart of the Welsh countryside. Arriving at your destination, find solace in the field geodomes that await, promising a unique stay under the canopy of stars

Day 4 - Tuesday 6th August - Sea Kayaking and Foraging

A maritime adventure along the Welsh coast awaits as your morning unfolds with sea kayaking and foraging led by a knowledgeable local guide. Paddle through the gentle waves, the rhythmic sound of the sea accompanying your journey. Along the way, learn the art of foraging for coastal treasures, and discovering the bounty hidden within the intertidal zone. After a morning of exploration, set up a makeshift kitchen on the beach for a delightful cook-up using your freshly foraged finds. Day 5 - Wednesday 7th August - Abergavenny

As you arrive in the charming town of Abergavenny, the warm hospitality of The Angel Hotel welcomes you with open arms. After settling into your comfortable accommodations, head out for a hike to the summit of Sugar Loaf, where panoramic views of the rolling Welsh countryside await. The crisp mountain air will fill your lungs as you soak in the natural beauty surrounding you. Returning to town, you wander the quaint streets, discovering hidden gems and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. In the afternoon, indulge your creative side with a session led by a local artist, immersing yourselves in the rich artistic culture of Abergavenny. Day 7 - Friday 9th August - Welsh Mining and the Royal Mint

Today you will have a private tour with your local miner guide, and delve deep into the heart of Wales’ industrial heritage at the Welsh Mining Experience. As you descend into the underground tunnels, you gain insight into the lives of the miners who once toiled here, their stories echoing through the cavernous chambers. Emerging from the depths, you enjoy a hearty lunch, savouring the flavours of traditional Welsh cuisine. Energized and enriched, continue your journey to the Royal Mint, where the fascinating process of coin production unfolds before your eyes. Day 8 - Saturday 10th August - Onward Travel

Bid farewell to the Brecon Beacons and enjoy a morning of discovery in Cardiff through the city’s rich history with your knowledgeable guide. From the ancient Roman walls to the medieval splendour of Cardiff Castle, each step unveils layers of the city’s past. Standing within the castle’s grand walls, you’re transported back in time, imagining the dramas that once unfolded within its walls. After a morning of exploration, you indulge in a leisurely city lunch. In the later afternoon make your way to Bristol Airport in the afternoon for your flight to Paris. En route to Paris, carry with you the echoes of Welsh melodies, the whispers of ancient tales, and the spirit of exploration that Wales has graciously shared.
