Day 1 - Thursday 23rd January - Welcome to Scotland

On arrival at the airport you will be met by a private driver who will transfer you to your city centre hotel. Depending on your arrival time you can choose to relax at the hotel or head out to start exploring this unique city.

Day 2 - Friday 24th January - Exploring Edinburgh

Today immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past as you explore the Castle. This afternoon, explore the city further as you indulge in a delightful tour featuring special tastings of local food and whisky, celebrating the unique flavors of the region.

Day 3 - Saturday 25th January - Exploring Scotland's Castles and Countryside

Meet your main drivergide this morning, who will be with you for the next few days. Leave the bright lights of the city as you embark on the next part of your adventure. Your first stop is the historic City of Stirling, where you can explore the magnificent Stirling Castle, perched proudly on the hillside.

After a delightful lunch, continue your journey into the stunning Highlands. Take a peaceful walk through local forests before heading on to your accommodation, where you can relax and soak in the beauty of your surroundings.

Day 4 - Sunday 26th January - Winter Magic in the Hills

Escape to the secluded beauty of the hills for a day of quiet adventure. Journey cross country in 4×4 with your experienced driver, to unwind with a remote picnic in a hidden spot, surrounded by mystical landscapes that feel like a world away. This evening, immerse yourself in the magic of winter as you join a local storyteller for a captivating stroll. Listen to enchanting tales that dance through the crisp air while keeping an eye out for the shimmering Aurora Borealis,lighting up the night sky with its ethereal glow, if the stars align.

Day 5 - Monday 27th January - Whisky and History

Embark on a journey to Dalwhinnie Whisky Distillery, where you’ll discover the art of whisky-making in one of Scotland’s highest distilleries. As you travel through the breathtaking Cairngorms National Park, immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes of towering peaks and serene lochs, stopping off for a leg stretch or photo break along the way. After continue on to Culloden, the historic site of the last battle fought on British soil, where you can explore the rich tapestry of Scotland’s past. Finally, unwind for the night in the charming Highland capital, where the warmth of Scottish hospitality awaits you.

Day 6 - Tuesday 28th January - Loch Ness

This morning, step aboard for a serene winter cruise across the dark, icy waters of Loch Ness, where mist lingers low and the surrounding hills are dusted with snow. As you glide through the cold, tranquil landscape, watch for hardy wildlife scaling the frosty slopes or a lone golden eagle soaring overhead.

The ruins of Castle Urquhart soon emerge through the winter fog, standing stark and ancient against the snow-kissed Highlands. Once a stronghold for local clans, its stone walls tell tales of battles and betrayals, now quiet under the blanket of winter. Once back on dry land, have the option to travel the lochside road with your guide to visit the Castle and further explore this history. Your guide will make suggestions for the rest of the day, depending on energy levels and weather.

Enjoy your final evening in Inverness, whether it’s a peaceful stroll along the River Ness or a cozy night in a local pub, reflecting on your Highland adventure

Day 7 - Wednesday 29th January - Onward to London

Today, your guide will take you to the airport for your flight to London.
