Day 1 - Sunday 22^nd September - Welcome to London

On arrival at the airport you will be met by a private driver who will transfer you to your city centre hotel. After dropping your bags, you will meet your local expert guide and head out to explore some of the highlights of London on foot. From the imposing grandeur of Westminster Abbey to the iconic Tower of London, your guide will weave stories of the city as you pass by the famous sites as well as taking you off the beaten path to see some of the hidden gems only known to the locals.

Tonight you can head out to sample some of the delicious eateries in the city or relax at the hotel after a busy day.

Day 2 - Monday 23^rd September - Highlights of London

Enjoy a relaxed morning before meeting your dapper driver outside the hotel to set off and explore the highlights of London in a classic Mini Cooper. Squeeze through the narrow alleyways, take shortcuts though leafy streets and drive past some of the most iconic buildings in the world before being dropped off at the Palace for your next tour.

This afternoon, head to Buckingham Palace, the official residence of his majesty The King for a tour of the state rooms and the gardens.  From the White Drawing Room where His Majesty has his weekly meeting with the Prime Minister to the Ballroom where many Royal Dignitaries have been entertained over the years, gaze in wonder at the opulent surroundings and incredible decor as you move through the palace towards the Garden.  Here, you will breathe in the scents of the stunning flowers as you take a tour with one of the expert guides before heading back to your hotel for the evening.

Day 3 - Tuesday 24^th September - Churchill War Rooms

Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel this morning and you’ll set off to explore the city.  Your first stop is Churchill’s War Rooms to experience just what life was like in this bunker where the decisions were made to end the war.  See the scratch marks on the chair he sat in, the cups of tea just left when the war ended and learn more about this underground world where so many people lived for so many years.

After an immersive morning, you will enjoy a free afternoon wandering the streets of London, perhaps dipping into one of the many museums or taking a walk through one of the beautiful parks.

Tonight, you will head to the bright lights of the West End where you will be transported to the magical world of the arts as you enjoy one of the many shows that is on offer.

Day 4 - Wednesday 25^th September - The Museums of London

Spend the day exploring the museums of London today as you head out with your expert guide for another wonderful day in the city.  Your first stop will be the British Museum, where you immerse yourselves in over two million years of human history and culture.  From Ancient Greek artefacts to Medieval Europe, there are so many galleries to visit that you may end up spending all day here!

Depending on how much time you spend at the British Museum, you may have time this afternoon to visit the Sir John Soanes Museum – the former English architect who’s home was left as it was at the time of his death in 1837.  A unique look at life in regency London and an inside look into this remarkable man’s life.

Day 5 - Thursday 26^th September - Day trip to Windsor

Your private transfer driver and guide will collect you from your hotel this morning and you’ll head out of the city to the borough of Windsor with its imposing castle and beautiful gardens.  Take a tour of the late Queen’s beloved home, including St George’s Chapel which recently has played host to a number of Royal occasions and the famous Queen Mary’s Doll House.

There may also be the opportunity to see the famous changing of the guard which takes place every Thursday and Saturday and is a splendid example of pomp and pacentry that the English are so good at.

Spend the afternoon exploring the quaint streets of Windsor with your guide before returning to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 6 - Friday 27^th September - Final day of Explorations

For your final day you will head to the Science Museum where you can spend time exploring some of the amazing interactive features they have on display.  From the IMAX theatre to the hands on gaming experiences you will find something new to learn at each turn and create incredible memories for you to take home.

The rest of the day is free for you to explore at your own pace and enjoy some moments together before heading off to Paris tomorrow.

Day 7 - Saturday 28^th September - Depart

A private transfer will collect you from your hotel this morning and take you to St Pancras where you will board the Eurostar to Paris, taking with you wonderful memories of your time in London.
