Day 1 - Friday 2nd August - Welcome Back To Scotland

On arrival at Inverness Airport your guide will meet you and together you will head north to begin your explorations.

Day 2 - Saturday 3rd August - Exploring The North West Coast

Full day to start exploring the North West coast of Scotland with your guide. This unique landscape creates some spectacular and very special hikes to immerse yourselves in.

Day 3 - Sunday 4th August - Quinag (Or Another Route As Per Interest)

Your guide will discuss the best options for today with you. A superb choice could be the first peak of Quinag, where the views offered far outweigh the effort you have to expend.

Day 4 - Monday 5th August - South to Achnasheen

Today you transfer south to Achnasheen, which gives you superb access to many amazing hiking routes and wild areas. Your guide will discuss the best options with you for explorations on route.

Day 5 - Tuesday 6th August - Full Day Hiking in Poolewe Area

A full day hiking to explore the Poolewe area, or to head back into the steep glens of Torridon if you prefer! Follow the weather and the local knowledge of your guide.

Day 6 - Wednesday 7th August - Transfer to Cairngorms National Park

Transfer into the heart of the Cairngorms National Park today. A unique glaciated landscape that blends grandeur with fascinating tiny details and trails.

This mountain range boasts 5 out of 6 of the highest peaks in the UK, so you can choose if you want to head up onto the accessible peaks or stay lower down in the romantic Caledonian pine forests and glens.

Day 7 - Thursday 8th August - Full Day Hiking in Wild Glen Feshie

Enjoy a full day exploring Glen Feshie, a place that has been revitalised by rewilding initiatives. See for yourself how this approach has transformed the local landscapes and their flora and fauna, such as the native forest that has reclaimed the mountain slopes, where it provides shelter for indigenous species such as red squirrels and wildcats. Through the ambition of this flagship project to restore the unique rich biodiversity to its rightful home here on the heights, you’ll feel the vast scale of the mountain range and quiet ancient woodlands.

Day 8 - Friday 9th August - Full Day Hiking in The Cairngorms

Today you will discuss with your guide to choose a hike that best suits the weather conditions and your aims for the day. You have a full day to allow you to really get the feel of the untamed wild spaces of the Cairngorms and explore the landscape.

Day 9 - Saturday 10th August - Transfer To Oban

Transfer to the West Coast today, maybe taking the southern route to explore a different area on route with a short hike.

Drive Time = Approx 2 to 3 hrs depending on route chosen

Day 10 - Sunday 11th August - Hiking The West Coast

There are many superb hiking options open to you from your base in Oban. Maybe circumnavigate a small local island, or head down the coast to some little-visited areas.

Day 11 - Monday 12th August - Exploring Mull

Take the early morning ferry over to the Isle of Mull and spend a day exploring some of the wild glens. Keep your eyes open for the ‘flying barn doors’, as the locals call the sea eagles.

Day 12 - Tuesday 13th August - Transfer to Glenfinnan & Hike on Route

Today would be a superb day to hike into the legendary CIC Hut under the cliffs of Ben Nevis. Alternatively you could choose to hike in Glencoe or elsewhere on your way up the coast.

Day 13 - Wednesday 14th August - Knoydart

Take the short boat ride over to the special peninsula that is Knoydart. The community here is not accessible by road from the mainland, and the mountain landscape is one of the more special places in Scotland.

Day 14 - Thursday 15th August - Options - Local Hike or Boat Trip to Rum

Options today; soak in the superb local area with a hike on the mainland OR splash out (pun intended) with a private boat hire to take you over to the Isle of Rum for the day. This is somewhere that not many visitors to the country make it to, and the rewards are well worthwhile. A superb finish to your trip.

Day 15 - Friday 16th August - Transfer To Inverness & Depart
