Departing your Ritz Carlton Yacht, your private guide will meet you at the harbour in Cobh and after some short introductions together you will begin your Irish explorations. Cobh was the last stop the Titanic made before she set sail for America. Here you will meet local guide, author and historian Michael for a fascinating gentle walking tour, which will bring you through the streets and environs of Cobh, revealing locations and incidents directly connected to the Titanic and many other aspects of Cork Harbour History & Irish Heritage. Leaving Cobh, stop at the nearby Midleton Distillery for a behind-the-scenes tour with one of their expert Ambassadors. Can you taste the difference between Jameson and Bushmills whiskey?

Today you will head into the wilds of West Cork for a fully immersive experience in the sights, sounds, smells & tastes of a rare temperate rainforest valley & bay on the Wild Atlantic Way. Too often overlooked by visitors, the Beara Peninsula is a hidden paradise. At each turn, there is a new view to marvel upon, with panoramas over the hidden valleys, rocky slopes, sheep-dotted hills and far-away lakes. Make sure to leave room after breakfast this morning, as your experience of the day involves meeting local foraging expert Kloe to share in her craft on the remote southern edge of the Beara Peninsula. After an hour out in the field learning the science and practices of foraging in the woods, reconvene around a campfire together for a cooked lunch of your gathered goods. Before returning to your hotel, you’ll take a guided tour of Blarney Castle & Gardens.

Departing Cork this morning, you’ll head further north to Killarney National Park – the most famous of Ireland’s national parks – with good reason as it is flourishing with breathtaking mountains, lakes and waterfalls. Historic manor houses and abbeys make for an interesting visit but Killarney is best explored via a private boat trip across the lake with a boatman whose furry friends join him daily. Before leaving you’ll step back into the past with a visit to Muckross Traditional Farms, which showcases a very different Ireland – the Ireland of the 1930s and 1940s. Back then, a trip to the well was still a daily chore for the housewife and electricity had yet to be introduced to the countryside. At your hotel, enjoy a curated whiskey tasting, including some of the hotel’s private casks before your delicious dinner this evening on site at Adare.
Overnight: Adare | Adare Manor Hotel
Room Type: x2 Staterooms

Owls, Falcons, Buzzard’s, Eagles and Hawks, your private falconry experience will be one to remember. Following your time with the birds, settle into the beautifully appointed carriage for a meandering exploration of some of the 840 acres of pristine parkland. Your tour takes in some sweeping views of the lush countryside, memorable points of interest and fascinating and engaging tales of Adare’s long history.
The rest of the day is yours to indulge in some relaxation at the spa, perhaps go for a swim, take afternoon tea like the lords and ladies or indulge in an afternoon cocktail. Dinner will be with your guide this evening and we suggest checking out the local village just outside your estate gates.
