This morning you will meet your experienced local guide and together discover the unique city of Edinburgh. Walk through some of the famous historic attractions, wander at the stories of the streets and discover the true character of the Old Town. Edinburgh is a labyrinth of cobbled alleyways contrasted with Georgian townhouses and more modern architecture and this tour will give you a real insight into the history and character of this amazing city. This afternoon you are free to relax at your luxury hotel or explore the popular sites of Edinburgh independently with some tips and recommendations picked up from your local guide this morning.

Today you meet your driver/guide and together you will leave the bustling city behind. As you travel through the lush landscapes of Perthshire you will make a stop to visit the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle, iconic sites full of history and intrigue. The Castle is also known as one of the grandest castles in Scotland with an imposing location overlooking the city of Stirling. This afternoon, continue northwards. There are options en-route to stop and enjoy a short hike, your guide will be on hand to choose the best location depending on weather and your preference of challenge. Arriving at your stunning Castle home for the next few nights, why not relax and enjoy a warming dram.

Today you will continue exploring the beautiful area of Perthshire. Head to Castle Menzies, the seat of the chiefs of Clan Menzies for over 500 years. The Castle has famously hosted both Bonnie Prince Charlie, who rested on his way to Culloden in 1746 and then, just four days later, the Duke of Cumberland. This afternoon you can choose to do a short hike or enjoy the delights of a nearby Coffee Roaster company, famous for making delicious fresh roasts. To end the day why not delight in some world-famous chocolate truffles at a local chocolatier.
