Day 1 - Friday 27th September - Welcome to London

Arrive in London and settle into the luxurious Landmark London Hotel. Take some time to relax and recover from your journey, perhaps enjoying the hotel’s elegant surroundings and amenities. Soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the city and prepare for the adventures ahead.

Day 2 - Saturday 28th September - Free Day to Explore London

Enjoy a free day in London, where you can explore the city at your own pace. Whether you’re interested in iconic landmarks like the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, or prefer shopping in Covent Garden and exploring museums, London offers endless possibilities.

Day 3 - Sunday 29th September - Welcome to Scotland

Today you will board the train from London to Edinburgh, a scenic journey that showcases the beautiful British countryside. Arrive in Edinburgh and check into the Balmoral Hotel, where you’ll have a deluxe room with a stunning castle view. Take the evening to unwind and enjoy the hotel’s luxurious amenities.

Day 4 - Monday 30th September - Exploring Edinburgh

This morning immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. Your guide will leave you here so that you can spend as much time in the castle as you wish.

You then have a free afternoon to continue explorations at your own pace, pick up souvenirs or relax as you prefer.

Day 5 - Tuesday 1st October - North to the Highlands

Meet your expert guide who will also be your driver this morning and transfer north to Inverness in the heart of the Highlands, with a scenic drive via Loch Ness. Enjoy the stunning views and perhaps even a chance to spot the legendary Loch Ness Monster. Arrive in Inverness and settle into Ness Walk, where you’ll stay the the night.

Day 6 - Wednesday 2nd October - Over the sea to Skye

This morning your guide will meet you and you will begin your journey to the Isle of Skye, stopping at the picturesque Eilean Donan Castle on the way. Explore the castle’s rich history and stunning location before continuing your journey. Arrive on Skye and check into the Marmalade Hotel, where you’ll stay in a superior room.

Day 7 - Thursday 3rd October - Exploring the Misty Isle

This morning head out with your guide to explore the dramatic landscape of the Quiraing on the northern peninsula of Skye. As you walk, admire the stark rock formations that rise from the rugged ground like the great ruined battlements of a long-forgotten war. Chat with your guide about the geology and history of the area, enjoying the incredible sweeping views of the islands, mountains and sun-clipped shores that stretch in every direction. This afternoon, visit Dunvegan Castle, a Hebridean fortress which has been home to the same family for over 800 years. Learn about the family ancestry and stroll around the formal gardens, perhaps pausing for a home bake and cup of tea, all the while admiring the stunning views.

Day 8 - Friday 4th October - Road to the Isles

Today you’ll leave Skye on a ferry and travel along the stunning Road to the Isles. This is frequently listed as one of the most beautiful drives in the world and it is easy to see why. Admire the silver sand beaches of Arisaig and the views into the distance of Skye and the small isles. Your guide will share the tales of the local area as you go, making the landscape come alive with characters and events from the past.

You may wish to stop at the historic the Glenfinnan Viaduct, which you may well recognise from the Harry Potter films. Hear the tales of the Glenfinnan Monument and see if you can spot the Jacobite Steam Train puffing its way over the graceful arches of the viaduct.

Take a stroll on the white sand beaches of Arisaig and soak in the views of the Small Isles before continuing your journey to Inverlochy Castle, your stunning hotel for the evening.

Day 9 - Saturday 5th October - Transfer to Glasgow

This morning you will join your guide and drive to Glasgow, with a stop at the historic Stirling Castle en route. Explore the castle’s fascinating history and impressive architecture before continuing to Glasgow. Arrive in the vibrant city and settle into Blythswood Square Hotel, ready to explore Glasgow’s lively cultural scene and rich heritage. Bidding farewell to your guide, before enjoying some dinner in one of the cities renowned restaurants.

Day 10 - Sunday 6th October - Arrival in Ireland

This morning you will be collected by a private transfer who will take you to the airport to catch your flight to Dublin.

Arriving in Dublin this afternoon, a private transfer will meet you at Dublin airport and take you to your 5-star hotel in the city centre. You are free to explore the city – Dublin is best explored on foot or using public transport such as the LUAS, our light rail system. Many of Dublin’s highlights are within walking distance and indeed you will discover it is in the act of wandering from one to another where you will soak up Dublin’s authentic atmosphere.

Day 11 - Monday 7th October - Iconic Dublin

Head out this morning to enjoy a walking tour with a local private guide through this vibrant capital city, with its mix of 1,000 years of architecture from the mediaeval to Georgian to modern. See the Georgian-style Merrion Square, lush St. Stephen’s Green, and Fitzwilliam Square, as well as O’Connell Street, the site of the ‘1916 Uprising’ that led to Ireland’s independence in 1922. Your guide is also a historian who will bring the city to life with colourful tales of life in the city in times gone by. Later on, there is no better introduction to Ireland than with a tour of The Guinness Storehouse, followed by a pint or soft drink in their sky bar with commanding views over the capital city and beyond.

Day 12 - Tuesday 8th October - Head West to The Cliffs of Moher

This morning, your local private guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and together you will head out west,to the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most impressive natural sites. The area is teeming with wildlife and 20 different species of birds, including puffins, make this area their home. You’ll stop in the village of Doolin, famous for its traditional music scene, for a fish n’ chips lunch in a historic stone cottage before continuing on to Connemara, a Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking region) known for its windswept landscapes of mountains, beach, and bog. Before settling in for the evening, you will have some time for a stroll along the wooded trails of your hotel, Ballynahinch Castle. For dinner, your guide will join you in the property’s historic Fisherman’s Pub, a lively place where guests and locals mingle.

Day 13 - Wednesday 9th October - The Aran Islands

Spend the day on the remote Aran Islands with a local guide Gabriel, a native goat farmer come tour guide who calls these islands home. You’ll visit Dun Aonghasa, an Iron Age Fort on the edge of a cliff offering a glimpse into an ancient and mystical world & The Seven Churches, two historical sites of importance before stopping for lunch. Visit the local seal colony before Gabriel takes you to his own goat farm for a cheese tasting and a demonstration of our cheese-making process. Have some fun interacting with the flock of goats before you pop over to visit the eastern side of the island to St. Enda’s sunken church and the old Cromwellian Castle. Stop at the monument dedicated to local fishermen who lost their lives at sea before returning to the harbour for your ferry to the mainland.

Day 14 - Thursday 10th October - Depart
