Day 1 - Monday 28th April - Welcome to Scotland

On arrival at the airport you will be met by a private driver who will transfer you to your city centre hotel. Depending on your arrival time you can choose to relax at the hotel or head out to start exploring this unique city.

Day 2 - Tuesday 29th April - Exploring Edinburgh

This morning immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. Your guide will leave you here so that you can spend as much time in the castle as you wish.

You then have a free afternoon to continue explorations at your own pace, pick up souvenirs or relax as you prefer.

Day 3 - Wednesday 30th April - Day Trip to St Andrews

Renowned worldwide as the birthplace of golf and home to Scotland’s oldest university, this characterful coastal town boasts a rich history. Travel in style in a Mini Cooper with your private guide, allowing you to fully appreciate the scenic journey as you stroll along the pathways and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. Marvel at the ruins of Scotland’s largest medieval church, beautifully perched on the cliffside. This afternoon, breathe in the fresh sea air as you explore miles of uninterrupted beaches before returning to the city.

Day 4 - Thursday 1st May - From Castle Walls to Glencoe’s Wild Embrace

Leave the bright lights of the city this morning with your main driver guide as you head off on the next part of your adventure.  Your first stop is the City of Stirling where you can spend some time exploring the castle perched high on the hillside.

After enjoying lunch in the town, you will continue your journey to the jagged peaks of Glencoe, where you can take a short leg stretch to soak in the breathtaking scenery. Then, you’ll drive onward to your luxurious accommodation at Inverlochy Castle, nestled in this stunning landscape

Day 5 - Friday 2nd May - Iconic West Highlands

Today you have a full day in the hills, your guide will lead you on a hike through the atmospheric landscapes of the West. The route for this day will be discussed with your guide the evening before, to take in consideration of the weather and the terrain you would like to cover.

Day 6 - Saturday 3rd May - Scenic Jacobite Rail Ride, then over the Sea to Skye

Step back in time today as you board the famous Jacobite Steam Train and head to the coast. Journey through the beautiful scenery as you traverse the West Highland line on the “Hogwarts Express” you are offered unparalleled views of rugged mountains and sparkling lochs. Arriving in the quaint fishing village of Mallaig you will be met by your guide to explore the scenic harbour, before boarding your ferry onward to Skye.

Day 7 - Sunday 4th May - Exploring Skye

Today you have a full day to explore some of the special corners of this magical island with your guide. You will be spoilt for choice with fascinating history and dramatic landscape on offer, stark and unusual rock formations and sweeping coast and mountain views to enjoy in almost every direction. This ‘misty isle’ is also home to so many curious stories and legends of fairies and islander culture, such as the faery flag at Dunvegan Castle. Your guide will share some of the best hidden gems and personalise the day to your interests.

The perfect way to conclude your day is with a private cruise from Portree, where you can savor delightful nibbles and sip on a refreshing beverage while you bask in the breathtaking views.

Day 8 - Monday 5th May - Journey North with a Stop at Urquhart Castle

Leave Skye today by crossing the iconic bridge. Continue on to the dark waters of the infamous to Loch Ness, looking out for the monster that lurks beneath as you travel the lochside road. It is then time to visit the ruins of Urquhart Castle, once the stronghold of local Clans, this large castle has a rich and bloody past that dates back centuries. Afterwards, perhaps stop for lunch in the village of Drumnadrochit before continuing on to the Highland capital of Inverness.

Day 9 - Tuesday 6th May - Legends and Waves: A Day of History and Wildlife

Start your morning with a visit to the nearby Culloden Battlefield, a site rich in history and significance, where you can walk the hallowed grounds of the final Jacobite rising in 1746. The afternoon invites you to step aboard a boat to explore the wildlife of the Moray Firth. As you cruise through these scenic waters, keep an eye out for playful dolphins, majestic seals, and a variety of seabirds, all set against the stunning backdrop of Scotland’s coastline.

Day 10 - Wednesday 7th May - Castles and Whisky Delights

Your journey today takes you through the stunning landscapes of the Cairngorms National Park. As you wind through majestic mountains and forests, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Scotland’s rugged natural beauty. En route, stop for a visit to the historic Blair Castle, with its rich history and striking white facade, nestled in the heart of Highland Perthshire. After exploring the castle and its beautiful gardens, continue your scenic drive towards Pitlochry, a charming town known for its Victorian architecture and picturesque surroundings. To cap off your day, indulge in a distillery tour, where you’ll discover the art of whisky-making and enjoy a tasting of some fine local spirits.

After arriving at your accommodation, your guide will bid you farewell, giving you the freedom to savor the rest of your trip at your own pace.

Day 11 - Thursday 8th May - Loch Canoe Adventure

On your final day, spend the morning exploring at your own pace, immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the local area one last time. In the afternoon, you will meet an expert canoe guide, who will take you on a peaceful paddling adventure across one of the region’s tranquil lochs. Allowing you the chance to reflect on your travels while enjoying the stunning surroundings,to conclude your memorable adventure.

Day 12 - Friday 9th May - Depart

A private transfer will collect you from your accommodation and take you to the airport to make your onward connections. Waving farewell for now but taking with you special memories and wonderful stories of your explorations.
