On arrival at Inverness airport you will be met by a private driver who will transfer you to your city centre hotel. Depending on your arrival time you can choose to relax at the hotel or head out to start exploring this unique city.

This morning you will meet your expert guide, who will also be your driver for your onward adventure through Scotland. Together you will head for the shores of the legendary Loch Ness. Upon arrival, board a cruise to explore the mysterious waters of the loch, soaking in breathtaking views of the surrounding Highlands. As you glide across the tranquil surface, keep an eye out for any signs of the elusive Loch Ness Monster. Following your cruise, continue to Urquhart Castle, perched on the shores of Loch Ness. Step back in time as you explore the ruins of this historic fortress, learning about its fascinating past and enjoying panoramic views of the iconic loch. This afternoon, you will travel across country to Braemar to check into the Fife Arms, settle in and enjoy some dinner.

Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. Your guide will leave you to take a tour of the castle if you wish.
