Scott Dunn - Palei Family Half Term Escape

Day 1 - Monday 28^th October - Welcome to Scotland

On arrival at the airport you will be met by a private driver who will transfer you to your city centre hotel. Depending on your arrival time you can choose to relax at the hotel or head out to start exploring this unique city.

Day 2 - Tuesday 29^th October - Exploring Edinburgh

This morning immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. Your guide will leave you here so that you can spend as much time in the castle as you wish.

You then have a free afternoon to continue explorations at your own pace, pick up souvenirs or relax as you prefer.

Day 3 - Wednesday 30^th October - To the Cairngorms via Dundee

Head out of the city today to the towering peaks and glistening lochs of the largest national park in the UK with your expert guide who will also be your driver.  On the way you can detour to Dundee to visit the iconic V&A museum to enjoy the exhibitions before continuing onto your boutique hotel in the heart of the Cairngorms.

Day 4 - Thursday 31^st October - Exploring the Cairngorms

Explore the Cairngorms today with your guide, perhaps head out for a brisk hike where you might see some local wildlife or venture to the Balmoral estate where you may be able to take a walk to visit some of the cairns erected in memory of members of the Royal Family.  You may even be able to visit Braemar Castle which has a unique history which your guide will tell you all about!

Day 5 - Friday 1^st November - To Gleneagles

After a couple of wonderful days in the countryside you will head to Scotland’s Glorious Playground for your last two nights where you will meet up with your friends.

On the route south you can stop off at Scone Palace – the crowning place of the Kings and Queens of Scotland which has beautiful gardens complete with an adventure playground and a fantastic maze in the shape of a star.  Who can get to the middle and back again in the quickest time?!

You’ll head to Gleneagles at the end of the day where your guide will say goodbye and leave you to enjoy your final day indulging in the activities that this amazing place has to offer.

A private transfer will collect the Natov family from Edinburgh airport and take them to Gleneagles where they will wait to meet the Palei family on arrival.

Day 6 - Saturday 2^nd November - Indulging at Gleneagles

Spend the day indulging in all that Gleneagles has to offer.  Perhaps enjoy a family falconry session or head out on some mini land rovers to enjoy some splashing in the mud.  Take a dip in the pool or enjoy some spa sessions.

Enjoy dinner in one of the many restaurants tonight and raise a glass to your Scottish adventure.

Please note that no experiences are included at Gleneagles but these can be booked in advance and you can settle the account on departure.
