Day by Day

Day 1 - Saturday 31st May - Arrive - Running or walking tour of Edinburgh

Our Scottish adventure begins with the best way to see this historic city….. a running (or walking) tour.

Then finish with a short run up to Calton Hill. At the top, which is marked by a collection of historical monuments, you’ll have great photo opportunities of some of Edinburgh’s famous landmarks, including Arthur’s Seat, the Firth of Forth and the Royal Mile.

After working up an appetite we gather for a welcome dinner.

If you’re up for the challenge our aim today is to do some Hill Running, alternatively we can have a gentle run along the edge of Loch Lomond.

We return from our run and now experience the beauty of Loch Lomond from a different perspective, as we take a taxi boat trip across the famous Loch to the island of Inchcailloch, where we can enjoy a short walk on the tiny Island, and experience something truly magical.
