Belfast Hotel to Giant’s Causeway- Driving Directions
Carrickfergus Castle– A Norman castle in Northern Ireland, situated in the town of Carrickfergus in County Antrim, on the northern shore of Belfast Lough. Unlike many other castles of this era, Carrickfergus Castle sits in excellent condition.
Gobbin’s Path Visitor Centre– The constructed path along the rock face is currently closed. However, a stop in their visitor and cafe for a cup of tea and a wander around is a nice way to break up the journey.
Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge– Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge was first erected by salmon fishermen in 1755. Make sure if you do partake, to leave about two hours for this activity.

Dunluce Castle– Dunluce is one of the most picturesque and romantic of Irish Castles. With evidence of settlement from the first millennium, the present castle ruins date mainly from the 16th and 17th centuries. It was inhabited by both the feuding McQuillan and MacDonnell clans. Historical and archaeological exhibits are on display for public viewing. (Purchasing tickets ahead of time is recommended)

Barnesmore Bog Gap- A scenic mountain pass in the Bluestack Mountains of County Donegal, Ireland, serving as a main route between the northern and southern parts of the county. (This is along your driving route, feel free to find a safe place to pull in for a photo stop).

The Slieve League Cliffs are some of the highest sea cliffs in Europe (three times the Cliffs of Moher). With your private guide, explore the little-visited cliffs on one of the several hiking trails. One of our favourites follows a little-known ancient pilgrimage path where the remains of a mass rock (an illicit church) stands, arriving at the top of the cliffs. In the evening, it’s off to bustling Donegal town where fabulous local pubs await.
