Day 1 - Friday 30th May - Welcome to Scotland

Upon arriving at Edinburgh Airport, you’ll be greeted by a private driver who will transfer you to the elegant hotel, located in the heart of the city. After settling in, take the rest of the day to relax and unwind. You may wish to explore the area around your hotel, taking a leisurely stroll along Princes Street or the historic Royal Mile. The hotel’s concierge can also recommend nearby dining options for a casual dinner or a traditional Scottish pub experience.

Day 2 - Saturday 31st May - Exploring Edinburgh

This morning immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. Your guide will leave you here so that you can spend as much time in the castle as you wish.

You then have a free afternoon to continue explorations at your own pace, pick up souvenirs or relax as you prefer.

Day 3 - Sunday 1st June - Journey to Gleneagles via Kingdom of Fife

After breakfast, meet your private guide who will also be your driver for the rest of your trip. Together you will depart Edinburgh and head north, making your way to Gleneagles.

On the journey, you’ll explore the Kingdom of Fife, a region steeped in history and natural beauty, and home to several iconic Outlander filming locations. Visit the quaint village of Culross, which stood in for the fictional Cranesmuir, and the picturesque town of Falkland where you will tour Falkland Palace with your guide, known as 1940s Inverness in the series.

After your tour, arrive at the luxurious Gleneagles Hotel, a renowned countryside retreat. Take a stroll around the grounds, enjoying a drink in one of the lounges before dinner.

Day 4 - Monday 2nd June - Game of Thrones Exploration & Indulge at Gleneagles

After a delightful breakfast at Gleneagles, embark on a morning excursion with your guide to Doune Castle, a key filming location for Game of Thrones. This medieval stronghold served as the inspiration for Winterfell, the ancestral home of the Stark family. During your visit, you’ll see the very spots that appeared in the series, including the exterior views of Winterfell and the grand hall where Robert Baratheon’s feast with Ned Stark was filmed.

In the afternoon, return to Gleneagles to fully indulge in its luxurious offerings. You might choose to relax at the spa, take part in a round of golf or enjoy one of the many outdoor activities available. Whether you opt for a soothing massage, a culinary experience or exploring the beautiful grounds, the afternoon is yours to savour the elegance and tranquility of Gleneagles.

Day 5 - Tuesday 3rd June - Transfer to Glasgow

This morning, join your guide to begin your journey to Glasgow after breakfast. You can choose to stop at Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most historical sites or take in some view points on a short hike.

Continue to Glasgow, where you’ll check into the stylish Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel and bid farewell to your guide.

In the afternoon, take the opportunity to explore Glasgow with a private city guide, discovering the city’s rich cultural heritage and vibrant atmosphere before concluding your Scottish adventure with a delicious meal in one of Glasgow’s many restaurants.

Day 6 - Wednesday 4th June - Depart

On your final morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before your private driver transfers you to the airport for your departure flight.
