On arrival in Inverness there will be private transfer drivers waiting for you to whisk you away to your highland castle for the night.
The rest of the day is at your leisure to enjoy being together in the castle before a lovely welcome dinner.

Meanwhile, after a restful night you will wake up refreshed ready to enjoy the first day of adventure in the Scottish Highlands. Head out with your guides to enjoy some local walks, perhaps along the beautiful Moray Coastline or through the sweeping forests that surround the castle.
Before dinner sit back and relax with a tutored whisky tasting where your expert guide will teach you how to detect some of the subtle (or not so subtle!) differences between all the different regions of Scotland. Let the amber nectar warm you from the inside before enjoying a delightful dinner.

Head out onto the fabled waters of Loch Ness today as you board your private boat to explore the deep, dark depths of the largest loch in Scotland. Your guides will tell you stories of the area as you cruise along and don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for the fabled monster that lurks in the deep.
You will stop off the explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle, the most besieged castle in Scotland and was part of the Jacobite uprising. Hear stories about this tragic time in Scottish history before heading back along the loch to the castle.
Before dinner, you will enjoy a session with a local storyteller who will regale you with tales of days gone by and the myths and legends that are sewn into the very fabric of life here in the Highlands.

A treat is in store for the whole family today as you enjoy a treasure hunt through the grounds of the castle. Either in teams or individually, pit yourselves against each other as you solve the clues and find the hidden treasure.
The rest of the day is free for you to unwind at the castle or perhaps head out with your guides to explore more of the local area.

This morning you can head out to explore some more of Scotland’s history with your guides. Head to Culloden Battlefield to meet with one of their expert guides who will lead you through this emotive site as you imagine what it was like for Bonny Prince Charlie’s men on that fateful April morning in 1746. Continue onto Clava Cairns to see how the Highlanders used to honour their dead before returning to the castle for lunch.
This afternoon, you will aim for the skies as you take part in a clay pigeon shooting experience. Under the watchful eye of the experts pick up some hints and tips as you see who can hit the most clays in a row.
Tonight, you will have a night to remember. Dressed in traditional Scottish dress, you will enjoy a delectable dinner before spending the evening learning all of the old favourites of a ceilidh! From the Gay Gordon to Strip the Willow – the evening will be a whirlwind of clapping, twirling and laughing as you make memories which will last a lifetime.
