Day 1 - Tuesday 27th August - Welcome to Scotland

On arrival at the airport you will be met by a private driver who will transfer you to your city centre hotel. Depending on your arrival time you can choose to relax at the hotel or head out to start exploring this unique city.

Day 2 - Wednesday 28th August - Exploring Edinburgh

This morning immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. Your guide will leave you here so that you can spend as much time in the castle as you wish.

You then have a free afternoon to continue explorations at your own pace, pick up souvenirs or relax as you prefer.

Day 3 - Thursday 29th August - Journey north to the Cairngorm National Park

After a hearty breakfast, a private transfer will take you to collect your Land Rover Defender and you will commence your journey to the Cairngorms National Park. Along the way, embrace the scenic drive, absorbing the breathtaking landscapes en route. If time allows and you’re eager for adventure, stop off for a picturesque walk amidst the stunning countryside. On arrival settle into your luxury accommodation at Fife Arms and prepare for your adventures ahead in the Cairngorms.

Day 4 - Friday 30th August - Hike Lochnagar & Whisky Exploration

This morning you will meet your expert guide and begin your day with an exhilarating hiking adventure around the Lochnagar Circuit. Lochnagar is a Munro immortalised in verse by Lord Byron, with its magnificent northern corrie stands as the highest and most renowned mountain of the Mounth, offering unparalleled vistas of the Cairngorms. Traverse through the rugged terrain, taking in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the tranquil waters of Loch Muick below. As you descend to the loch, indulge in a picnic by the shore.

In the late afternoon, immerse yourself in Scotland’s rich whisky heritage with a guided tour of Balvenie Distillery. Explore the craftsmanship behind this renowned whisky brand, learning about the distillation process and tasting some of their finest expressions.

After a day of adventure and cultural exploration, return to your hotel, reflecting on the day’s experiences amidst the serene landscapes of the Scottish Highlands.

Day 5 - Saturday 31st August - Fly Fishing on River Dee

This morning you will meet your guide and a local Ghillie to immerse yourself in the tranquility of Scotland’s pristine waters as you spend the day fly fishing in the picturesque rivers surrounding Braemar. For an unparalleled fishing experience, venture to the renowned River Dee, celebrated for its abundant salmon and trout populations. Enjoy a picnic lunch and a dram at lunchtime to fortify your energy for more casting in the afternoon.

After a day spent in pursuit of Scotland’s prized fish, return to your accommodation in Braemar and enjoy a meal together in one of the Fife Arm’s renowned restaurants.

Day 6 - Sunday 1st September - Mountain Biking & Transfer to Glencoe

This morning you will bid farewell to the Cairngorms and drive west to Laggan Wolftrax for a thrilling mountain biking adventure, tackling its renowned black trail and scenic red loop, with plenty options for all abilities. Test your skills on challenging terrain and enjoy sweeping views of the Highlands.

Continue your journey on to the breathtaking glen of Glencoe, where your luxurious walled garden suites at Inverlochy await. Relax and reflect on the day’s adventures amidst the beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

Day 7 - Monday 2nd September - Climb Ben Nevis

Join your expert guide for an exhilarating ascent of Ben Nevis via the Horseshoe Route. Starting from the Ben Nevis North Face car park, this less-traveled path offers a quieter and more scenic alternative to the mountain track. Feel the adrenaline as you navigate the narrow ridge and once on the summit, savour the sense of achievement before beginning your descent.

Day 8 - Tuesday 3rd September - Sea Kayaking & Road to the Isles

Take a drive down the famous Road to the Isles this morning, a route that offer famous views and locations from the big screen, making it excellent road trip material. Reaching the beautiful white sands of Arisaig, meet your expert sea-kayaking guide and head out into the turquoise water of to explore. Sea kayak around hundreds of tiny islands, spotting seals, otters, and a host of coastal birds. The seal colony here is friendly and curious, often slipping beneath your boat only to pop up on the other side to peer at you with their big dark eyes. Enjoy a picnic lunch on a deserted island.

Once back on shore, travel back towards the brooding melancholy of Glencoe and relax into the magical surroundings at Inverlochy Castle for the evening.

Day 9 - Wednesday 4th September - Mountain Biking & Journey to Gleneagles

For your final morning in the great Glen, you and your guide will embark on an exhilarating morning of mountain biking at Nevis Range. Kickstart your adventure by taking the gondola up to the starting point. As you ascend, anticipation builds for the iconic trails awaiting you. From the heart-pounding World Cup track to the exhilarating Top Chief and scenic Blue Doon routes, there’s something for every level of rider. Feel the rush of adrenaline as you navigate berms, jump and technical sections amidst the stunning Highland scenery. With breathtaking views unfolding at every turn, this mountain biking experience promises to be nothing short of epic. After an action-packed morning on the trails, descend back to the base station for some lunch.

In the afternoon, you will bid farewell to your guide and embark on the stunning journey south to Gleneagles. Reflect on the excitement of the ride and the natural beauty surrounding you as you drive through changing landscapes. On arrival at this luxurious resort, settle in and enjoy a well earned meal in one of the hotels beautiful restaurants.

Day 10 - Thursday 5th September - Indulge at Gleneagles

Today, you will stay local and indulge in all that Gleneagles has to offer. After breakfast, make your way through the hotel and enjoy the beautiful grounds. Take some time out for a little retail therapy in the shopping arcade situated inside the hotel.

Gather together in the stunning grounds for a Family Falconry experience which is sure to be a trip highlight.

Day 11 - Friday 6th September - Off-Roading & Relaxation
