Day by Day

Day 1 - Arrival - Welcome to Scotland

Upon arrival into Scotland you will be met by a private driver who will transfer you to your city centre hotel for the evening.

Depending upon your arrival time you may wish to head out an explore the city or simply relax at your hotel ahead of tomorrows adventure.

Day 2 - Into The Valley Of Glencoe

This morning it is time to collect your rental car and head out of the city. Stop off at Stirling Castle to visit a truly significant Scottish landmark. A symbol of Scottish national pride, it stands high above the city and is a location not to be missed.

After exploring the grounds, continue on for the stunning Valley of Glencoe and your accommodation for the next few nights. Enjoy this beautiful drive as you make your way through the ridge lines that frame the valley.

Day 3 - Exploring Glencoe

Today you will meet up with a local walking guide for a chance to get out and explore Glencoe. The walk will be tailored to your level and will ensure that you see the best of your surroundings and keeps you safe whilst you explore.

*Arrangements relating to a meeting spot with your guide will be made well in advance of travel. 

This evening you will head to a local inn for the chance to sit back and hear tales of the past as a talented storyteller weaves their way through some of the myth and legend associated with this magical location.

Day 4 - To The Scottish West Coast

After a leisurely breakfast you will depart Glencoe, and make the short journey to the Isle of Eriska on the west coast. Upon arrival you could enjoy one of the many activities on offer at the hotel. Choose from:

  • Golf Driving Range
  • Gin or Whisky Tasting

Day 5 - Exploring The West Coast Waters

Meet your private boat at the pier and head out for a day on the water. Spend the day visiting the many small islands and coves that litter the west coast of Scotland as you are shown around by a knowledgable local captain. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the marine wildlife that calls these waters home.

Day 6 - Inland To Scotland's First National Park

Enjoy a slow drive back inland as you make your way towards Scotland’s first designated National Park, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs. Take some time to stop off along the way as you follow the edge of Loch Lomond, with options to stop off and enjoy the view, before continuing on towards your accommodation on the waters edge.

Day 7 - An Aerial View Of Loch Lomond

Enjoy a classic Scottish breakfast before the chance to see the National park and its Loch from a truly unique view point. Board your seaplane and soar high above the park as you take in the stunning views across this region of Scotland from your window seat. Then enjoy the thrill of touching back down on the Loch to culminate a truly special experience.

Day 8 - Depart

Today you will return to Edinburgh and return you car rental to the airport, as you make your onwards connections.
