Day 1 - Sunday 10^th August - Welcome to Scotland

From Edinburgh Airport, a private driver will provide a seamless transfer to a city centre hotel. Depending on your arrival time, choose to relax at the hotel or head out to explore the beautiful cobblestone streets of the city.

Day 2 - Monday 11^th August - Edinburgh at Leisure

The streets of Edinburgh will be buzzing with energy due to the various festivals running this month and you will pass street performers and entertainment on every corner as you explore. Follow your curiosity through the twisting cobbled streets of the Old Town and enjoy the vibrant ambience. There will be a huge variety of different shows and concerts to choose from if you wish to catch a performance, maybe even the famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo itself on the Castle Esplanade.

Day 8 - Sunday 17^th August - Exploring Atmospheric Glencoe

The dramatic mountains and ridges of Glencoe have featured as the backdrop in many films and once you are looking up at these summits it is easy to see why! Today you will explore this famous valley with your guide, there are plenty of options to suit every level of energy and challenge. After your hike settle down with a celebratory beverage in a traditional climbers pub before your guide takes you back to your hotel.

Drive time = Approx 1 hour each way (Glencoe could be done on transfer to Gleneagles day instead of Schehallion if they prefer)

Day 9 - Monday 18^th August - Schiehallion & Then To Gleneagles

Transfer to the ‘Glorious Playground’ today but first enjoy the unique hike that takes you to the top of Schiehallion. The symmetrical shape of this mountain is not just pleasing to the eye, it also meant that it was used in the 18th Century experiment to weigh the earth. The superb views from the top stretch in all directions, and you can spot all kinds of local wildlife here too.

Your guide will then take you to your luxurious resort hotel to settle in. They will then depart, leaving you to enjoy the facilities here for the rest of your time in Scotland.
