Day 1 - Monday 12th February - Drive Buckinghamshire to Edinburgh

Day 2 - Tuesday 13th February - Travel to Pitlochry

Breakfast at Roseate Hotel.

Before departing Edinburgh to drive to Pitlochry, you will visit several hotels for site inspections.

Once you have departed Edinburgh, you will drive north to Pitlochry, where you will enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of Fonab Castle in the picturesque setting of Pitlochry.

Day 3 - Wednesday 14th February - Travel to Aviemore Via Ballater

14:00 – Darroch Learg Hotel

15:30 – Balmoral Arms   (It’s worth highlighting this is a 5* Inn,  not 5* hotel)

Meet with Joanna Whysall, GM – 01339 755413

 

We suggest a stop at the Rothesay Rooms in Ballater for lunch and then a pleasant stroll through the pretty village. Continue your drive to Aviemore.

**Please be mindful of winter driving conditions on the Ballater road.

Day 4 - Thursday 15th February - Aviemore & Wilderness Scotland Visit

Breakfast at Ravenscraig.

9:00 – Russell and Dani will collect you from Ravenscraig and join you for the site inspections.

09:30 – Glenfeshie Lodge

Meet with Lorraine, the House Manager – 7377556385

Followed by Killiehuntly Farmhouse, again with Lorraine.

 

Return to WSHQ for lunch, followed by an e-bike ride along the Speyside Way with one of our experienced guides.

Spend the afternoon in the office to meet with members of the Wilderness Team.

 

Enjoy an evening with the Wilderness Team at The Balavoulin Pub

18:00 – Drinks

19:00 – Dinner

Day 5 - Friday 16th February - Travel to Inverness Via Speyside Way

Depart Aviemore and enjoy the scenic drive along the Speyside Way, finishing the day in Inverness. Along the way, you will stop to inspect the following properties:

09:30 – The Dowans Hotel

Meet with Steph and Lauren, the Directors/Owners

Immediately followed by Hotel 1881, sister hotel to the Dowans, also with Steph and Lauren.

 

12:30/13:00 – Boath House

Meet with Paul and Ali

 

13:30-ish – Golf View Hotel 

Meet with Johnny, Operations Manager – ask for him at Reception

 

15:00 – Rocpool (currently under construction, but to see the property and get a sense of their vision)

Meet with Vicki, she will be on site all day

 

16:30 – Ness Walk

Meet with Tracey Milton, Sales Manager – 07748 625146

There is the possibility to see Kingsmills afterwards, if you would like. (Run by the same company)

 

Finish the day in comfort at Ness Walk and enjoy a stroll along the Ness River.

Day 6 - Saturday 17th February - Travel to Isle of Eriska

Depart Inverness, driving along Loch Ness.

Day 7 - Sunday 18th February - Travel to Glasgow

Depart Isle of Eriska, heading east toward Tyndrum.

10:30 –  Monachyle Mhor

Meet with Tom or Lisa Lewis, the Owners

(**Tom is a bit quirky – a great chef and nice guy)

Continue on to Glasgow.

 

15:00 – Invisible Cities Tour with Angie and Sonny

Meet at People’s Palace in Glasgow Green

Afterwards, coffee meet up with Zakia Moulaoui, Founder

Meet at Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel

Day 8 - Monday 19th February - Drive Home
