Day by Day
Day 1 - Transfer Day - Dublin to Edinburgh
After breakfast your guide will meet you at [hotel/airport] and transfer you Dublin Airport to fly to Edinburgh. Settle into your new accommodation and relax at your hotel before enjoying dinner at the [hotel restaurant] this evening.
Day 2 - Exploring Edinburgh & Private Evening Tour of The Royal Yacht Britannia
This morning immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city including the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. Your guide will leave you here so that you can spend as much time in the castle as you wish.
You then have a free afternoon to continue explorations at your own pace, pick up souvenirs or relax as you prefer for the afternoon.
Following an early evening meal, a red-carpet arrival, you will be welcomed aboard via the Royal Yacht Britannia via the Royal Brow, the entrance previously reserved for Queen Elizabeth II and the Royal Family. Your expert guide will take you beyond the viewing windows and into the Admiral’s Cabin and behind-the-ropes to discover the charm of the beautiful State Apartments.
See the State Dining Room, where the Royal Family entertained royalty, dignitaries and celebrities from around the world. The finale of this in-depth tour includes a glass of Champagne on the Royal Deck. You will also receive an official Britannia Guidebook to take with you as a memento of your visit!
Day 3 - Journey north to the Cairngorm National Park
After a hearty breakfast, meet your driver and guide and commence your journey north west. Along the way, enjoy a private tour of Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument and Bannockburn.
Nestled in the very heart of Scotland, Stirling is one of its most majestic royal cities but hidden beneath the majesty is a past so turbulent that only the most intrepid of travellers should proceed. Your guide will take you on a journey through the wars of independence and the exploits of Robert the Bruce and William Wallace.
After your tour and lunch in Stirling, embrace the scenic drive, absorbing the breathtaking landscapes en route. If time allows and you’re eager for adventure, your guide can suggest a picturesque walk amidst the stunning countryside.
Settle into your accommodations and perhaps take a leisurely stroll and prepare for your adventures ahead on Loch Lomond.
