On arrival at the airport you will be met by a private driver who will transfer you to your city centre hotel. Depending on your arrival time you can choose to relax at the hotel or head out to start exploring this unique city.

This morning meet up with an expert city guide providing you insight into the tales and history of this charming city. With the electric energy of the festival, discover the true character of the Old Town and some of the lesser known sites. Tour the labyrinth of cobbled alleyways contrasted with Georgian townhouses and more modern architecture of this captivating city. This afternoon, take in the atmosphere and delights of the famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Perhaps attend a show or two, or engage in the festival’s street performances that catch your eye as you walk the royal mile. Start your evening with a delightful tasting menu as part of the famous Royal Military Tattoo package, before taking to your seats to watch the spectacle before you, from the pipers to the dancers and the fireworks to finish.

This morning meet your guide, who will be with you for the next few days. Start your journey, heading to St Andrews in the Kingdom of Fife. Enjoy time exploring this charming university town, full of history and stories. More recently the Prince and Princess of Wales famously met during their studies here. However, St Andrews is much better known for being the ‘birthplace of golf’ and ‘The Old Course’. The day will be customised to your interests, with your private guide showing you all the hidden gems. Perhaps take a walk along the edge of the Old Course, and walk the sandy beaches of the coast.

This morning discover the charming and picturesque fishing villages along the Fife Coastal Trail with your guide. Stop off to sample local delicacies, including the renowned Fish & Chips! Later, a tour and tasting await you as you visit the ‘spiritual home of Scotch Whisky’. Learn about the ancient heritage of Scotland’s modern distilleries and enjoy a wee dram.

Today it is time to travel north with your guide, into the Highlands. There are endless options for hikes, from the more gentle strolls to the higher climbs, discuss with your guide your preferences for the day.
This afternoon you will visit Blair Castle, an iconic white castle with its own private army! Tour the castle itself and the grounds, and perhaps take a longer walk in the surrounding valleys if you want to explore more, learning of its rich history, spanning over seven centuries. Later, travel to your castle retreat to settle in. Perhaps enjoy some spa treatments or simply a drink in the bar enjoying views across the loch outside.

Head west this morning to the glistening waters of Loch Tay where you will enjoy a scenic boat trip and see the incredible scenery from a different angle. Keep your eyes peeled for the local wildlife that may swoop through the skies above your head or look down at you from the ridge lines.
This afternoon head out on a fun private Landrover safari with a kilted Ranger. Explore private estate tracks to see what traditional gillies and estate managers drive every day. A mix of wildlife from Red Deer, Mountain Hares and Eagles are all to be found here. Once back down in the valley, your guide will take you to your hotel to enjoy the final evening of your Scottish explorations.
