Arriving this morning you’ll touch down in the UK to start your journey. You’re first stop is one of the world’s most enigmatic prehistoric sites—Stonehenge. Take time to explore the towering stones, uncover their mysteries at the visitor centre, and soak in the ancient landscape. From here, continue to the elegant city of Bath, renowned for its stunning Georgian architecture and rich history. After settling into your accommodation, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the city’s picturesque streets, admiring its golden-hued buildings, charming squares and tranquil riverbanks.

Start your morning with a visit to the Roman Baths, where the steam still rises from the ancient waters as it did over 2,000 years ago. After lunch choose to explore one of the cities museums or take a stroll long the river. Later this afternoon you’ll journey into the countryside to your hotel in the heart of the idyllic Cotswolds.

This morning, step into the world of ancient Rome with a visit to Chedworth Roman Villa, one of England’s finest surviving Roman sites. Wander through its remarkably preserved ruins, where intricate mosaics, ancient bathhouses, and hypocaust heating systems offer a glimpse into the lavish lifestyle of its former inhabitants. Next, head to Bourton-on-the-Water, often called the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’ for its charming low bridges spanning the River Windrush. Take time to explore the delightful model village, a perfect miniature replica of the town. In the afternoon, visit the enigmatic Rollright Stones, a mysterious collection of ancient megaliths steeped in folklore.

You could wander the peaceful pathways of Batsford Arboretum, home to one of the largest private tree collections in the country; explore the striking Sezincote House and Gardens; or delve into centuries of Tudor history at Sudeley Castle, once home to Katherine Parr, the last wife of Henry VIII. In the afternoon, round off the day with a visit to a local vineyard, where you’ll learn about the art of English winemaking on a guided tour. Then, relax and take in the tranquil surroundings as you sample a selection of their signature vintages (for those who would like to taste).

Today’s adventure begins at the magnificent Blenheim Palace, a Baroque masterpiece and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Explore its opulent staterooms, admire historic portraits, and stroll through its beautifully landscaped gardens. Enjoy a tour of the upstairs, learning how the aristocrats would live, then experience the behind the scenes of downstairs from the point of view of the household staff. Next, continue to Oxford, where you can wander past the city’s historic colleges and soak in its rich academic heritage. Catch the train to London where to you will explore the city yourself.
