Day 1 - Friday 18th October - Welcome to Scotland

On arrival at the airport you will be met by your guide who will transfer you to your St Andrews hotel. Depending on your arrival time you can choose to relax at the hotel or head out to start exploring this unique town.

Day 2 - Saturday 19th October - Historic St Andrews

After breakfast, meet your guide and set out to discover this historic town of St Andrews, known for its rich history. Your guide will lead you on a tour to explore the past. From Castle ruins to the Cathedral, while also being home to the oldest University in Scotland, dating back to 1413, there is so much to see. Explore the cobbled streets and perhaps stroll by the world famous golf course as you make your way to the sandy beaches.

Day 3 - Sunday 20th October - Foodie Tour and Falkland Palace

Start your day exploring the culinary delights of Fife. Meet a local culinary expert to guide you on a tour for the tastebuds. Sample fresh seafood in coastal towns and local produce from farm shops, to cheese, an artisanal chocolate shop and, of course, whisky. Afterward, journey with your guide to immerse yourself in history with a visit to Falkland Palace. This Renaissance gem offers beautifully restored rooms, serene gardens, and fascinating glimpses into its royal past. Day 4 - Monday 21st October - Travel north and visit Glamis Castle

Your driver guide will meet you at your hotel this morning to travel north to the countryside of Angus. Delve into the area’s historic past while visiting the beautiful Glamis Castle and Gardens. Enjoy a tour of the corridors and discover the haunted tales of the past. Stroll around the impressive Castle Gardens, taking in the array of scents, sights and sounds of the nature that surrounds you. Continue traveling north to the highland village of Braemar and your stylish retreat.

Day 5 - Tuesday 22nd October - Hiking the Cairngorms

Hike in the Cairngorms with your knowledgeable guide and immerse yourself in one of Scotland’s most breathtaking natural landscapes. The route will be tailored to the weather conditions and your energy levels. Whether you choose to explore the rugged highland terrain with its ancient rock formations or opt for the serene lower tracks of the glens with their lush greenery and tranquil rivers, your guide will enrich your journey with fascinating insights into the area. Discover hidden gems such as secret lochs, rare plants, and elusive animals while learning about the unique ecosystems that make the Cairngorms a natural treasure.

Day 6 - Wednesday 23rd October - Hiking and Distillery Tour

This morning, head out with your guide for a stunning hike on one of the beautiful nearby trails. Walk through the ancient Caledonian pine forests, listening for the white-water rush of a river and the bright sing-song call of a blackbird. Whether you fancy a mellow circular walk or a more demanding hike, your guide will be able to suggest the perfect option for you. After lunch, enjoy a tour and tasting at the Royal Lochnagar Distillery, which was issued with a royal warrant by Queen Victoria in 1848. Learn about the history of Scotland’s most famous tipple while also having the chance to indulge in a tasting.

The rest of the evening is free to enjoy at your leisure, perhaps raising a toast to your travels.

Day 7 - Thursday 24th October - Depart
