Day 1 - Monday 10th June - Welcome to Scotland
After breakfast, meet your guide in the foyer of your hotel and head out for a day spent exploring the beautiful cobblestone streets of the city. Full of history, the capital is very accessible by foot. Wander up the Royal Mile, stopping to visit the architecturally stunning St Giles Cathedral, and enjoy panoramic views from Edinburgh Castle. Pick up a coffee and a pastry from one of the wee artisan shops, dipping into local galleries, cheesemongers and bookshops. This afternoon is free for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 2 - Tuesday 11th June - Celtic Traditions
Today, visit Edinburgh’s most charismatic kilt-maker to learn all about the history of this revered art. If desired perhaps have a fitting for your very own kilt. This afternoon have time to explore the city further with your expert guide, the day will be customised to your interests. This evening, discover the hidden dwellings of the Real Mary King’s close on a private guided tour and learn how the locals used to live and work in these underground alleyways.

Day 3 - Wednesday 12th June - Visiting a Scottish Family Farm
This morning meet your guide to journey to visit a traditional Scottish farm. Enjoy meeting the local farmer and gaining an insight into what daily life looks like in rural Scotland. Meet the farm’s friendly herd of sheep and tame lambs and other farm animals. Your visit will be tailored to your family. Later, perhaps set out to explore a local castle or abbey, before returning back to your hotel.

Day 4 - Thursday 13th June - History and Highlands
Leave Edinburgh behind and travel west to visit the nearby city of Stirling. Explore one of the most important castles in Scotland’s history and have time to also visit the Wallace Monument and its Hall of Heroes. This afternoon, continue to delight in the wonders of Scotland as you drive into the scenic landscape of the Loch Lomond National Park. Arriving at your loch side accommodation, have a stroll along the shores to bask in the beauty of your surroundings.

Day 5 - Friday 14th June - Tasteful Delights
Today spend time exploring the grounds, foraging for the freshest produce you can find and hearing about the innovative ways the tasty treats are used in dishes on a daily basis. After an enjoyable morning, sample the flavours of your endeavours and tuck into a sensational lunch. This afternoon continue exploring the Trossachs with your guide. There are so many options of things to do that you will be spoilt for choice, your guide will make sure you make the most of your day in this wonderful part of the world.

Day 6 - Saturday 15th June - Inveraray Castle
Have the option today to either relax at your hotel or travel with your guide on the scenic route to the village of Inveraray. Here, visit Inveraray Castle, the ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll, Clan Chief of the Campbell Clan. The imposing castle dating back to the 1400s stands on the shores of Loch Fyne surrounded by beautiful gardens. You may like to stroll the local trails to enjoy the views, or visit a nearby eatery to sample the fresh produce.

Day 7 - Sunday 16th June - Day at Leisure
The day is yours, relax and make the most of the beautiful grounds and facilities at Cameron House. From the leisurely to the more adventurous, there are plenty of options for the whole family. This evening be joined by a local storyteller to hear tales of history and legend.

Day 8 - Monday 17th June - Journey to the Cairngorms
Today, it is time to travel to the stunning Cairngorms National park, passing by the sparkling waters of Loch Tay. Visit a spectacular turreted castle, dating from the 16th Century. Here you will have a private tour and time to explore all the nooks and crannies of this restored castle which is the seat of the Clan Menzies. Afterwards, ignite the taste buds as you learn and discover the mastery of the Highland Chocolatier. Enjoy a tour and tasting of this unique artisan chocolate exhibition, perhaps even treat yourself to an award winning truffle hot chocolate. Later, continue northwards, arriving at your highland home for the next few nights.

Day 9 - Tuesday 18th June - Meet the Cairngorm Reindeer
This morning travel to the nearby mountain for a lovely hill walk to meet the Cairngorm Reindeer. See this impressive mammal in their natural environment and take part in a hand feeding session while hearing about how they are cared for and why they thrive in the sub arctic environment of this particular mountain range. Depending on energy levels have the option to discover the trails of the local Caledonian pine forests before returning to your hotel for the evening.

Day 10 - Wednesday 19th June - Fishing the River and Craft Afternoon
After breaskfast, meet a local ghillie for a morning spent fishing on the River Spey. Whether you are a well-seasoned expert or an enthusiastic beginner, enjoy fly-fishing with your friendly guide, whose love of the sport and fantastic knowledge of the region makes for an incredibly memorable experience. This afternoon, learn the art of green-wood carving – an ancient tradition that was once at risk of being forgotten. From a local woodsman, learn the history of this unique craft and discover the pleasure that comes from whittling.

Day 11 - Thursday 20th June - Hiking in the Cairngorms
Your final day of your Scottish Adventure. With your guide, choose a hike that suits you – perhaps head out onto the alpine plateau of the Cairngorms Mountain range and bag a sought-after Munro. Or choose to explore a low level route, along the rivers or through the pine forests. Roam heather-covered glens and alongside jewel-like lochs for the perfect immersion into this ancient landscape, enjoying the serenity before your onward travels.

Day 12 - Friday 21st June - Depart
A private transfer will collect you from your accommodation and take you to the airport to make your onward connections. Waving farewell for now but taking with you special memories and wonderful stories of your explorations.
