Depending on the time of arrival you could head to Leith to see the floating palace of the Royal Yacht Britannia which is berthed here.  Explore the corridors and rooms of HRH Queen Elizabeth II’s favourite residence and watch the bunting flutter in the breeze as you gaze in wonder at this marvel of engineering.

You’ll end the day with a private tour of Mary Kings Close where the truth about the darkest time in Edinburgh’s history will be unveiled – are you brave enough to step inside?

Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past.

After enjoying some lunch, you’ll set off to explore the Edinburgh Dungeon where actors will take you through historical events in Scottish history but with a scary twist.  Perhaps take a ride on the Drop Dead Ride and feel what it would have been like to fall from the gallows!

This evening you’ll head out on a ghostly tour of the Old Town with your private guide.  Tales of blood, guts and gore will surround you as you explore Edinburgh’s most haunted underground vaults.

After lunch, you will head out to the nearby Pentland Hills to meet some furry friends.  Spend some time walking these cute alpaca’s through the stunning countryside and getting to know more about them before returning to your hotel for one last night in the capital city.

After lunch you will head to the Bonny Banks of Loch Lomond for a wonderful afternoon falconry experience.  Feel the adrenaline pulse through your veins as you handle owls, kestrals and the magnificent Golden Eagle with their powerful claws and glaring eyes.  Fly the birds to your glove and learn more about these majestic creatures that soar through the skies above our heads.
