Wendee and Pete arrive into Edinburgh airport and will be met by a private driver who will transfer you to your city centre hotel. Depending on your arrival time you can choose to relax at the hotel or head out to start exploring.

This morning immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past with a tour of the castle.
After a delightful afternoon tea onboard the Fingal, you and your city guide will step onboard the Royal Yacht Britannia for an afternoon tour.
This evening embark on a journey into the heart of whisky culture with a visit to the renowned Whisky Society. Step through the doors into a world of aged oak barrels, rich aromas, and expertly crafted spirits. Along the way you will drive through the heart of whisky country, accompanied by your knowledgeable guide. Stop at the Balvenie Distillery to taste their renowned whiskies.
Next you will stop in at Johnstons of Elgin, immersing yourself in the essence of Scotland’s textiles, take a tour of the mill followed by an afternoon tea. With plenty time to wander around their beautiful shop before continuing on to Culloden House Hotel to rest for the evening.
