Day 1 - Sunday 31st August - Welcome to Scotland! Travel to the Highlands
Welcome to Scotland! Your guide (who will also be your driver) will meet you at airport arrivals and together you will make your way straight to the Highlands, taking in the stunning landscapes that unfold along the way.
The first stop is the elegant Scone Palace, the historic crowning place of Scottish Kings and Queens. Stroll through the beautiful gardens and navigate the unique Murray Star Maze before continuing the journey northward. Arrive at your comfortable accommodation where you will be free to settle in and relax for the evening.

Day 2 - Monday 1st September - Whisky & Wildlife
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast this morning before heading out to experience a captivating distillery tour at Glenmorangie, where you’ll explore the art of whisky-making and enjoy a guided tasting of their signature single malts amidst the stunning Highland scenery. This afternoon, explore some of the picturesque villages nestled along this hidden coastline. Take a short stroll to a beautiful beach, a well-known spot for dolphin watching. With a bit of luck, you may see them just metres from shore, leaping through the water.
This evening, enjoy some time at your hotel perhaps relax at the hotel spa, enjoying the wonderful facilities on offer.

Day 3 - Tuesday 2nd September - A Journey to The Isle of Skye
Making your way to the iconic Isle of Skye today enjoy an incredible journey full of delight. Your first stop is Loch Ness, enjoy a cruise on these mysterious waters where you will enjoy tranquil views as you hear stories of legends, amid the breathtaking Highland landscapes.
Later, stop at the incredible Eilean Donan castle, possibly the most iconic sight in Scotland and no wonder, it is set out on the water at a confluence of 3 sea lochs and is surrounded by majestic scenery. Take your time here to appreciate the unique setting and capture some special photographs. Arriving at your cosy accommodation, you are free to relax perhaps raising a dram to your adventures ahead or head out and start exploring the quaint harbour town of Portree.

Day 4 - Wednesday 3rd September - The Fairy Pools, Hiking and Whisky tasting
Head out early this morning to visit the Fairy Pools ahead of the crowds. Accompanied by your guide, follow a crystal clear burn – Allt Coir a’ Mhadaidh into the wilderness of the moor, stopping to admire the many deep, turquoise pools and small rushing waterfalls. Careful near the pools, they serve as the portal between our world and the fairy realm, part of the magic that makes this place so enchanting. Afterwards, take a walk on the black sands of Talisker Beach before a tour and tasting at the Talisker Distillery. This afternoon, explore some of the local galleries and workshops on the island; an interesting and informative option is to visit Skyeskyns, where you can tour the tannery and learn about the ancient methods of leather making.

Day 5 - Thursday 4th September - Exploring the Misty Isle
Spend the day uncovering the hidden corners of this magical island with your guide. Known as the ‘Misty Isle,’ it holds a wealth of folklore, from ancient island traditions to the legendary faery flag at Dunvegan Castle. Day 6 - Friday 5th September - Back to the Mainland - Road to the Isles
Today, you’ll journey along the breathtaking Road to the Isles as you make your way back to the mainland. Often hailed as one of the most beautiful drives in the world, it’s easy to see why. Take in the silver sand beaches of Arisaig and enjoy sweeping views across the sea to Skye and the Small Isles. Along the way, your guide will bring the landscape to life with stories of local legends, history, and memorable characters.
A stop at the historic Glenfinnan Viaduct is highly recommended—you might recognise it from the Harry Potter films. Learn about the Glenfinnan Monument and keep an eye out for the Jacobite Steam Train as it makes its iconic journey across the viaduct’s graceful arches. There are also plenty of scenic hikes along the route, and your guide will help you choose the perfect one to suit your energy and preferred level of challenge.

Day 7 - Saturday 6th September - Experience Glencoe

As the day winds down, relax with a refreshing drink and listen to captivating tales from a local storyteller, delving into the fascinating and often dark history of Glencoe.

Day 8 - Sunday 7th September - The Vibrant City of Edinburgh
Bidding farewell to the Highlands today, you will make your way back into the heart of the cultural City of Edinburgh. Before you arrive enjoy a fascinating guided tour of a unique Distillery, where you will explore the traditional whisky-making process inside a converted 18th century cotton mill. Savour the unique character of some of the Distilleries best single malts before you continue your journey.
On arrival in Edinburgh, why not head out and start exploring the cobblestone streets of this incredible place.

Day 9 - Monday 8th September - Exploring Edinburgh
This morning, a private walking tour with an expert guide unveils the winding cobbled streets of Edinburgh’s historic Old Town. Highlights include the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the mighty fortress of Edinburgh Castle at the top of the Royal Mile. From the castle ramparts, tales of the One O’Clock Gun and the city’s past come to life. The tour concludes at the castle, leaving time to explore its halls and exhibitions.
