Day 1 - Friday 7th March - Arrival in Dublin

Arriving in Ireland this afternoon, a private transfer will pick you up and take you to your centrally located 5-star hotel. After check-in, you’ll meet a local historian for a captivating journey through Dublin’s rich past. Dublin is a blend of medieval, Georgian and modern and you’ll learn about the highlights including Trinity College, literary landmarks, and the General Post Office on O’Connell Street, the site of the 1916 Easter Rising. Hear fascinating stories from your guide as he brings the city to life with tales of Irish culture, politics and rebellion for centuries. This evening, settle into one of Dublin’s many award-winning restaurants for dinner.

Day 2 - Saturday 8th March - Jewellery Making Class & The Little Museum of Dublin

This morning, you will make your way to Drury Street where Jill and her skilled team will take you through the process of forging a bespoke piece of jewellery. Learn the basics of silver-smithing from sawing, soldering, filing, hammering and polishing to create your own beautiful, handmade silver ring! A wonderful way to commemorate your family holiday in Ireland. After a bite to eat, take a short stroll to the much-loved Little Museum of Dublin, where you’ll find history, humour and hospitality. Housed in a beautiful Georgian building, your private tour will reveal the history of a city that has undergone remarkable changes in the last 100 years, from the visit of Queen Victoria to the global success of U2. Take a deeper dive into life in Ireland over the last 1,000 years with exclusive access to their prized collection and your own private host to talk you through it.

Day 3 - Sunday 9th March - Into the Irish Countryside

Picking up your rental car in the city centre this morning, you will make the 2.5-hour drive to the west coast and Irish countryside. As you are staying in Adare Manor, we recommend arriving early to enjoy all this luxurious hotel resort has to offer. After some lunch, you’ll get up close and personal with some of the resident birds of prey at Adare as you are introduced to a selection of raptors by their expert handlers. Owls, Falcons, Buzzard’s, Eagles and Hawks, your private falconry experience will be one to remember. The rest of the day is yours to indulge in some relaxation at the spa, perhaps go for a swim, take afternoon tea like the lords and ladies or indulge in an afternoon cocktail. Check out some of the local hot spots for dinner in the village just outside your estate gates.

Day 4 - Monday 10th March - Adare Manor & Village

After breakfast this morning you’ll settle into the beautifully appointed carriage for a meandering exploration of some of the 840 acres of pristine parkland. Your tour takes in some sweeping views of the lush countryside, memorable points of interest and fascinating and engaging tales of Adare’s long history. Today we recommend getting out and exploring the local surroundings, did you know that Adare was once voted the prettiest village in Ireland? An hour’s drive from the village is one of Ireland’s best-kept secrets, known for its white sand beaches, cliff walks and wildlife.
