Head up to Fort William this morning to step on board the world renowned Classic Rail Journey on the Jacobite Steam Train. The ‘Harry Potter Train’ will puff its way through beautiful scenery all the way to the West Coast. Here you will alight and be met by your guide to set out on your next adventure of sea kayaking in Arisaig. This is one of the best places to sea kayak on the west coast because of the incredible white sandy beaches and the sheltered crystal clear waters. We’ll spend the afternoon exploring the many skerries (small rocky outcrops), which are home to a curious seal colony. You will be able to get fairly close to them as they lounge on the rocks, they also enjoy swimming under kayaks and popping up beside you! You’ll enjoy a refreshing break on your own desert island where you can often see eagles soaring above you as you admire the view across to the small isles of Eigg, Rum, Muck and the Isle of Skye.

Weather and energy levels dependent, stop en route for a rewarding hike through some of Scotland’s most stunning landscapes. After your hike, head on to Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh, where you’ll indulge in a private Scottish foodie experience this evening: savouring local delicacies and the finest seasonal produce. As the evening draws to a close, say goodbye to your guide and reflect on the many fond memories you have made together.

Today immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. You then have the afternoon to continue explorations at your own pace with your guide, picking up souvenirs or exploring the city further.
