Day 1 - Tuesday 9th September - Welcome to Scotland

Upon your arrival at the airport, a private driver will greet you and escort you to your city-center hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can either unwind at the hotel or step out to begin discovering the charm of this extraordinary city.

Day 2 - Wednesday 10th September - Exploring Edinburgh

This morning immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. Your guide will leave you here so that you can spend as much time in the castle as you wish.

You then have a free afternoon to continue explorations at your own pace, pick up souvenirs or relax as you prefer.

Day 3 - Thursday 11th September - Journey to Historic Stirling & Scenic Perthshire

This morning, you will meet your main guide, who will also serve as your driver for your journey. Together, you’ll bid farewell to the bustling city and set off into the picturesque heart of Perthshire. Along the way, enjoy a visit to the iconic Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most magnificent strongholds. Perched majestically above the city of Stirling, this historic landmark offers a fascinating glimpse into Scotland’s rich past, where history truly comes alive as you explore its unique architecture and storied grounds.

Upon arriving in Perthshire, you’ll have the opportunity to unwind and settle into your luxurious accommodation. Alternatively, you may choose to venture out and discover the charm of the surrounding countryside at your own pace.

Day 4 - Friday 12th September - A Highland Safari

Immerse yourself in the Highlands today as you head out on a fun private Landrover safari with a kilted Ranger. Explore the private estate tracks to see what traditional gillies and estate managers drive every day. Keep your eyes open for the local wildlife, Red Deer, Mountain Hares and Eagles that are all to be found here.

Day 5 - Saturday 13th September - Into the Highlands

As you journey into the heart of the Highlands, take time to visit Blair Castle in Blair Atholl, a historic residence of the Atholl family for over seven centuries. This remarkable castle brings the family’s storied legacy to life, showcasing fine 18th-century interiors and striking Scottish baronial architecture, with tales of politicians, soldiers, agriculturalists, and entrepreneurs woven into its history.

Continuing northward, immerse yourself in the evolving landscape. Enjoy picturesque walks and breathtaking views as the scenery transitions from ancient pine forests to majestic, rugged mountains.

Day 6 - Sunday 14th September - Cairngorm National Park - Ancient Pine Forest & Jewel-like Lochs

Today, enjoy a hike in the beautiful Cairngorms National Park. At over 4500 sq km it is the largest National Park in the UK and with miles of winding rivers, make it Scotland’s most prolific whisky-making region. With your guide, choose a hike that suits you – perhaps explore the Caledonian pine forest which is the oldest forest in Scotland and the last of the woodland that once covered the whole of the UK. Roam heather-covered glens and alongside jewel-like lochs for the perfect immersion into the ancient landscape.

Day 7 - Monday 15th September - Hidden Glens

Day 8 - Tuesday 16th September - Explore Glencoe

Your guide will meet you at your hotel this morning and take you through the stunning scenery of Glencoe. These dramatic mountains and ridges have featured as the backdrop in many films and once you are looking up at these summits it is easy to see why! Today you will explore this famous valley with your guide, there are plenty of options to suit every level of energy and challenge. After your hike settle down with a celebratory beverage in a traditional climbers pub and listen to local legends and fascinating tales of the dark past of Glencoe told by a local storyteller.

Day 9 - Wednesday 17th September - Return to the City of Edinburgh

Today, begin your journey back to the city, savoring the rugged beauty of the Highlands one last time. Along the way, consider pausing to explore one of the charming villages on the edge of Loch Lomond National Park, where scenic trails and tranquil vistas invite reflection. Don’t miss a visit to the iconic Kelpies—towering 30-meter sculptures steeped in stories and legends, offering a glimpse into Scotland’s mythic heritage.

As you near Edinburgh, the city’s familiar skyline emerges, a timeless blend of history and grandeur welcoming you back. The evening is yours to unwind in your luxurious hotel, relishing the comfort of your final night, or to wander the cobblestone streets one last time, soaking in the magic of this iconic city.
